Like Juice said I did it myself.
It's very easy...If you have a wire wheel brush on a table grinder or maybe a Dremel with a wire wheel.
You could practice on an old plastic cup, ink-pen, plastic toy or old phone case if yer worried it might be hard (It's not)
The Sheath is slim and grippy, to begin with. I just wanted more!!!...I lightly brushed just the sides, now I have almost no worries that it's gonna slip out of my hands.
I also did a Silicone Case but I love the slim profile on the Sheath.
The sport and the presideo grip are the same size. In the video she compares both.
I love the Sheath size and buttons but hate the texture. There’s gotta be something similar out there. Thoughts?
I run the Solid Suit Carbon Fiber on my XS Max and I am very satisfied with it as I bought it for maximum protection with minimum bulk....To me it's got a decent grip to it....plus I am pretty good at not dropping my phone.
Anybody try this one?

Not a fan. It seemed to be trying to be a sheath from last years design.
I got it when they had the caseology deal, so for $1.50 I wasn’t too upset.

That’s what I’m like. I don’t mind the texture of the Sheath but with the bigger phone I need a bit more grip, whereas last year with the X it was perfect for me.
I just came from Best Buy. I compared the Presidio Grip and the UAG Monarch. I just don’t like the design of the Presidio Grip. That and it seemed like the ones at Best Buy are glossy hard plastic. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a matte version before.
Anyway, I walked out with the UAG. I’ll give it a try for a bit and see if I like it. Otherwise back to the Sheath until I can find something else minimal and grippy.
Anyone remember Seidio? I never hear them mentioned anymore.
The 1st case I preordered for my Max was the Grip. I sent it back because of the Gloss finish. On my 7+ the Grip was Matte Finish, felt better in my hand and looked better than the Gloss.
I am pretty sure that Candyshell grip has the Gloss back finish where the Presidio grip has a matte finish. And a slightly different grip design.
It’s definitely a ripoff of last years Sheath. What didn’t you like?

This year there is a regular Presidio grip and a Presidio glossy grip in black. I think the Presidio glossy grip is a Best Buy exclusive.
The sides are definitely grippier than the back since they have a nice cross hatched traction pattern.
Thanks. Not sure why they’d bring back the shiny. The matte is better in every way. No scratches and fingerprints.

It’s so cheap I’m thinking why not? It’s gotta be lighter and thinner than the solid suit. Sheath like I’m guessing.
I’ll find out Tuesday! Just ordered it. Haha.... for $10 it’s easier to pull that trigger.
If they would just bring back out the Diztronic Voyeur series all would be great. That case was so great and they only ran it for a year.
