I really do like that blue, (Although I'm ALWAYS attracted to black - graphite - also.)
Feel I need something new though, I've had black, Space Gray since iPhone 4...so this would be a nice switch.

Exactly!

I guess since I'm getting the Pro Max, I can at least see the other devices in-person before pre-orders go live on the Pro's.

Exactly my thought as well, I'm waiting for the Pro Max, so at least we will get to see true hands on of the Pacific Blue color after Pro arrives next week.

Will most likley get the silver.

Im actually really dissapointed and was looking forward to the blue pro 12.

The pacific blue color on the 12 pro feels unclean, in a way. Its neither blue, neither green, its too much of a mixed color - its a color that doesnt know what it wants. Does it want to be blue or green?

The regular blue on the iphone 12 is too deep in its blue. It looks toyish, too similar to the 5C models, one cant take it seriously

To illustrate better what I think would be perfect - Blue, in the same way the Iphone 11 pro was green. Not bluegreen

It feels like they totally misunderstood what made the 11 pro colorway so fantastic.

The 11 pro had a strong, earthly muted yet dignified green. It was a color that knew what it wanted. It was classy, a luxury green.

It seems like they thought that ok, the green pro color is popular, lets try to both keep it and make it blue at the same time. The result is unclean and washed out to my eyes and it doesnt work for me. It feels like the 12 pro pacific blue is a color that wants to be too many things at the same time.

Within design its important to make clear choices. Either its this, or its that, straight - or curved. The same goes for colors.

I cant be the only one?
Exactly... I would have gone blue in an instant, if it had been the blue we saw in early renders... The dark blue in the middle in your Link would have been a no brainer for me. But the sort of "petrol" they have gone with sort of ruins it for me...

I've always gone with the "dark" option (or space grey or whatever they've called it)... Has been the same with the iPhone 4, 5, 6, 8, X, iPad 2, Air 2, Pro... I was hoping to be trying something new this time, but I guess once you go black, you ne... Oh, nvm...

I guess we're in the same boat, just 2 minutes apart... :D

I wish we had real world pictures or videos but no press event means no hands on videos this time.

The official pictures are so bad and dark, you can't tell what silver or pacific look like in daylight.
Yeah, I hope there will be some hands on videos before preorders start, but I'm not holding my breath...

IMO: Wish the darker navy blue was on the pro. Pacific blue looks sleek but kinda looks to teal. I would have loved the blue horizon color they had for the silicone cases... I think I’ll go graphite looks very sharp also I have a case on my phones 24/7 and won’t really see the color that much. Gold is stunning also

Just saw the Pacific Blue (Pro model) on TV, so this is one "real World" pic so far.
Not the greatest, I guess we'll see more today, this week...looks like some stations (or YouTuber's) have these for news purposes. - Other than that, this story had nothing we already didn't know.

The standard 12s blue should of been the 12 pro blue. Much prefer the "navy blue" style to that aquatic blue. I'd still be tempted to go blue because I love blue regardless, but that gold looks amazing. My last two iphones have been silver/white so I'd want a change for sure.

Thanks for sharing... I also found a video with some bits and pieces of her showing the two blue iPhones...

After seeing this I’m going graphite! Also I put carbon fiber cases on my phones so the graphite will go well with it.

I think I’m going to let my appreciation of the blue sit and just order the black. I like how the white looks in a brown leather case but, if I decide that I do like the clear case, the white phone is a little bright for me.

The circle doesn’t really bother me.

Yes I completely agree! I thought the midnight blue rumours looked amazing, but this pacific blue not so much. Will probably stick to silver.
