I finished season 6 of Bosch, it is worth watching.
Very good series - if slightly hokey at the end. Reminded me of the end of Westworld. One of the few genuine SciFi series (IMO) as opposed to genre series just being set in Outer Space/Another World etc
I like Alex Garland's work, and enjoyed Devs, but at times wasn't sold on the actress who played Lily. He likes to work with her though, and she's ok when not asked to carry the lead (like in Ex Machina). Offerman was good, and Zach Grenier knows how to play a dick.
He said he couldn't have done Devs as a feature, and will do more TV, so there's something to look forward to.
Saw it when it originally aired! What a great series it was!Just started watching Eureka yesterday and am on E5. Really enjoying it and had never seen an episode. Love science fiction but totally missed this one!

When television historians gather, they speak in reverent tones of a short-lived, critically loved but little-seen 1990s series: The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr.
I must have run across the name of that show half a dozen times over the years, and always with praise from people who've seen it. So I was on IMDb's channel yesterday and there it was.
Watched the pilot today, and I'm going to keep going. It's a breezy mixture of western, comedy and a little sci-fi. It reminded me more than once of a scaled-for-TV version of the Indiana Jones movies.
And it's got Bruce Campbell. ? It'll be interesting to see where this goes.
I have a Fire Stick, and IMDB has a channel on it with the show. It's free with commercials. My wife and I watched it back in the day. We thought that it was ended too soon. On which streaming service are you able to watch it?

Thanks. I was reading about how it died because of poor ratings. But if I remember correctly the year it was on, 1993, it was the lead-in to the first season of The X Files. That show got poor ratings on its first run, too. (The X Files didn't start picking up until summer reruns.) So, one show was renewed and the other got canned. Not fair, but that's TV for you. It's great, I mean, like you said, Bruce Campbell means it's automatically the best thing ever
It had some great talent, Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel, the new-ish jack Ryan series), Jeff Boam (screen[play]writer of Lost Boys, The Last Crusade.
It's really fun, it's got that Alias thing with it being X, but also Y, but __really__ Z (no spoilers)
Enjoy.

Believe it or not, I have missed on The Wire, and now I'm playing 'catch up', fortunately on the HD remastered versions.
