That move was related to the COVID pandemic... the story that I read said that they were about half way through shooting the episode when the lockdown order came... they were forced to be creative... definitely a different feel.
Indeed. It also brought the story to a conclusion a couple of episodes earlier than anticipated.

Introduced my wife to Breaking Bad, so we binged all the seasons and El Camino.
Then I introduced her to Lucifer and we just finished episode 8 season 5.
Next week we'll start with Better call Saul, I haven't seen it myself so I'm excited.

Picked up a free month of Showtime and binged the newest season of Billions and watched the final season of Homeland. Then I caught up on Shameless.

The wife and I are also trying out the new Peacock app and watched all the movies and seasons of Battlestar Galactica. It was okay. I guess I kinda felt like the story took too many meandering twists and turns throughout the many seasons. It felt like it sort of lost its way for a while.

During quarantine we finally watched HBO's Deadwood and the post script movie that wrapped up the series.

I'm so sad I finished The Americans. I love a series with so many seasons. You can climb inside their world and inhabit the character's lives for quite awhile. I will wait a bit and then definitely do a re-watch. It's that good!
Well, well stated! And yes, it is an excellent, excellent series. My favorite TV series is Season 1 of Fargo, followed by both Breaking Bad and The Americans.

Back in 2014, it was the "golden time" for me regarding TV series. On Monday evenings, I would watch Season 2 of "The Following" (another very good series). Then, on Tuesday evenings, Season 2 of The Americans. And on Wednesdays, Season 1 of "Fargo".

In 2015, the same 3 TV series were on (each one season later), but not on 3 consecutive evenings.

I am just about finished with Season 2 of Fargo (one more episode to go), and once again, it is very enjoyable! I will then start Season 3, and thus will be done well before the season 4 premiere on Sunday, September 27th.

Usually, a TV series that has multiple seasons follow one after another chronologically. Some easy examples are Breaking Bad, The Americans, The Following, Better Call Saul, House of Cards, Narcos (actually a Netflix series, as is House of Cards), etc. But Fargo is different. Season 1 has a connection to the movie (the money buried by a fence). Season 2 goes back in time, and Season 3 forward in time. Season 2 is connected to Season 1, but Season 3 seems to be a "lone wolf", although there is a connection where a character from Season 1 appears in Season 3. Not sure about any connection with Season 4.

Still, the Fargo series (and of the course the movie) are excellent, enjoyable, and a pleasure to watch.

I'm still doing a Star Trek: DS9 rewatch. I've been thinking about rewatching Doctor Who Seasons 1-10 after. I haven't seen the earlier seasons in almost 15 years.
