Well, stopped watching Northern Exposure...

Turns out I have all DVD rips, not the VHS I thought...!

But it is with the replacement "stock" (elevator) music, excepting the first season (which was 60 bucks for 8 episodes, due to music licensing fees), and I cannot watch it...!

I was in my late teens / early 20s when Northern Exposure was originally on the air, and I remember (fondly) watching each new episode with friends, and the music really bound it all together...

This month I’ve been watching The Boys season 2. Homelander is like a role model to me: maniac, god complex, ego-centric and he just cares about himself. A exemple to follow in today’s world. I absolutely love Homelander, last year it took me a while to recognise Lucas Hood from Banshee, one of my favourite all time show. I’m taking the episodes slowly to enjoy longer time.

I started also Ted Lasso, which is a bit naive at the beginning but gets better after few episodes.

Last night I watched Obi-Wan on an electric bike in South America. He is struggling but I love the landscapes. I wish I would be able to travel there one day, it looks a bit like the South Island of NZ.

And finally Raised by Wolves. I’m not into sci-fi at all: it’s always always the same theme (time travel, human better than machines or the opposite) but I like the aesthetic of Mother when she flies. It’s getting better after few episodes but you really need to make a lot of effort to enter in the show. But if you like sci-fi, you should enjoy this show.

I meant to watch NE for ages... and yet I haven't. I am told that the ambiance is Twin Peaks-like, but the plot and characters are quite different.

Finished Stargirl. Falls short in comparison to the other DC shows, but I guess that’s because it’s for the younger audience.

Started NOS4A2 season two. Will try to finish it tonight or tomorrow.

Finished NOS4A2 season two. Now watching a different kind of series... re-watching the Bill and Ted movies followed by the new one Face the Music.

I'll be watching the latest episode of The Boys later today, it's all been really good so far. Anthony Starr plays a great role and I'm quite fond of Butcher's use of the word c***. ?

For the past few weeks I've been watching Lost from the beginning, haven't seen it since my first watch on blu-ray years ago. First season was great and while I'm still liking it now (just started season 3), it's definitely getting stranger. Shame I can remember the very last episode.

I liked the first seasons of Lost very much, but found it got less and less attractive over the last seasons.

From what I can remember (which isn't a great deal), the writers seemed to get "Lost" and didn't really know where they were going as it went on. But I've started, so I'll stick with it until the end.

Here's a little bit of trivia about Lost: The writers didn't think that the show wouldn't make it past the first 13 episodes so they made it up as they went along and were convinced that they would never actually have to explain any of it.....and that's why we got smoke monsters, polar bears, etc. I read that several years ago and don't know if it's completely true, but it certainly explains a lot.
