I love this show. I first tried watching it and just couldn't get my head around the spaces and titles, so quit watching after about 4 episodes. Then I played some Ac Valhalla and got some orientation and names. Went back to give it a second try and wow, binged the rest in a matter of days.

Cannot wait for the next season.

My wife and I have watched all the seasons and can't wait for the next one. We generally refer to it as "Blood, guts, & Vikings".

Very cool! I was wondering what they would do for a second season.

Since the show is about one week in the lives of the characters... they would obviously get a new cast for season two.

But a different location is a nice surprise!

Anthology series are so hot right now. :p

Just watched the season finale of The White Lotus... just one question... they never showed who was in the coffin box... since only one person died in the show, once can easily surmise, but it did leave me with just a tinge of doubt.

That person was identified in the first episode, but I won't spoil it.
Edit: maybe I misunderstood you ... I haven't watched the finale yet. Did you mean it's not clear it's the person identified in ep1?

Cracking series. (The books are great too...) Alfred and Aethelflaed are perfect... I'm always a bit surprised how mountainous and well, craggy, Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire was back then ;).

Just off to watch the BBC Ghosts - if you can (wherever you are) try and watch it, one of the best things on at the moment!

YAY for the White Lotus finale! I loved that show, it was so great!! I wish more people would watch it. Definitely on my list of best 2021 shows. Highly recommended. The interview on Vulture is worth reading.

well it's a Chinese television production, and a pretty high quality one at that, so maybe they combined several seasons into one for the international market......but who knows.

It's in Chinese with subtitles

I just watched the finale and that death was a surprise. I would say that's who's in the coffin
since the person intimated in episode 1 was alive and well at the end.

Yeah, agreed. In the airport scene, it talks about a killing at the White Lotus, but no hint who... that was my point... and there was only one death, so, makes sense.

with Rachel "missing" in the airport scene in episode 1, it might lead one to believe it was she who was killed...

Are you referring to the show Dynasty that was on US televisions in the 1980s and its recent reboot from several years ago? If so, then no. The Qin Dynasty Epic is a historical drama based on people and events in Chinese history from long ago.....however, there's plenty of palace intrigue and scheming by various characters trying to seize power.
