Which TV Series Are You Binging On?

Just saw the first 2 episodes of Slow Horses, it's good enough to make me resubmit to Apple TV +, a great British spy show, reminds me a bit of Spooks when it was good. I thoroughly recommend it if you like your British modern day Spy stuff. It's a bit like Spooks and New Tricks mashed up. Great cast too.

Outer Range turned horribly bad. Too much emphasis on the family drama. And that blonde girl, how is she still around? What a deception.

The last two episodes did nothing for me, it's just way too slow. As you say, it's more a drama than mystery show. The next two episodes are the last (for this season). So we've seen Royal climb out of the hole, covered in oil (?). I guess we're going to get a bit more of that and a little more background on Autumn. Other than that, I think the whole thing is meant to set up the base mystery story which will be continued in season 2 (if it's renewed that is).

Finished The Dropout and really enjoyed it. It's based on a true story, it's a little shocking to see how stupid people can be and follow a "cult leader". Plenty of Apple and Steve Jobs references. Very well done show, good acting. Amazing performance by Stephen Fry.

Just watched the last episode of Slow Horses yesterday. I did enjoy this series, glad to see that season 2 is already underway. Nothing overlay unique about it, classic spy show, decent acting, Gary Oldman is superb as usual. Unique twist at the end.

Finished Slow Horses, wow! Fantastic show, just fantastic, love it, and they played a trailer for season 2! Brilliant I highly recommend it. As I said well written and well acted.

I love the old school feel about it. It isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel. Just good ol classic British spy drama. I was really impressed with the acting, but wit the cast it has I’m not surprised. Oldman is a legend as is Scott Thomas.
 
In the last couple of weeks, I've binged my way through Line of Duty. The first three series are fantastic, the 4th wasn't bad, the 5th was OK and the final one was a bit disappointing.

Loved it!
 
Finished Severance and Slow Horses on Apple TV+. Severance was great. Probably my favorite show of this year. Slow Horses was well done too. Gary Oldman's character was good to see working with the other main characters. Looking forward to Season 2.

Then finally began the latest season of The Last Kingdom. So far so good. Just funny how the main character hasn't aged when the latest season begins years after the last season's finale lol.
