The black 12 doesn't look cheap, i prefer it over my SG 11 pro. Best since the jet black 7 imo.
I must be the only one going for the green...it looks really nice with some of the clear painted design cases, and right now it matches my kitchen so I'm all about mint green these days
haha. I was wondering who might be going for the green! I am intrigued by it, because it is different.
I know, I used reachability a lot when I had the 6, but then I reverted to the SE when it came out as the 6 just wasn’t comfortable to hold and use. With the SE1 you can (just barely) operate the whole screen one-handed with your thumb without having to adjust your grip or having to use a crutch like reachability. The 12 mini will be a downgrade in that respect, but at least it will be more comfortable/safer to hold than the 6, due to the narrower width and the flat edges.
I agree. 9 days to go until we get the mini in hand.
Still not sure if I’m going to skip this year’s phones, but I pre-pre-ordered a 128gb mini in green. I can always decide not to order it, but the trade in deal is pretty darn good and I long for a phone I can use one handed again.
Okay, so, I’m ordering 128GB White on Friday morning. This wait has seriously been killing me.
I ended up returning my 12 Pro to order the mini this Friday. Seems the 11 Pro was the absolute maximum screen size I could comfortably use one handed. I've attached pictures to demonstrate the problem I was having. The red phone is the 11 Pro (I can reach the top with my thumb) and the white is the 12 Pro (can't quite get to the top).
I want to like the green but it's too washed out, too light. It's really just greenish white. If it was a little bit darker and richer I may have chosen it.
I have no worries with the battery life based on all the iPhone tech factors and I will be using it as intensively as previous phones.

It’s only 2.6mm taller, but there’s a lot more material due to the squared off sides. The older phones were rounded, which allowed it to fit my fingers better, while the square sides interfere with that natural fit, making it appear much bigger than 2.6mm.

Pre-order starts simultaneously all around the world. As Norway is in the same time zone as e.g. Germany, pre-order will start at 14.00 (2 pm).

PST is west coast, and the east coast time is 8am so if you're in Norway you may be closer to 3pm. Of course I haven't been to Norway in 10 years so I could be counting the hours wrong 😉
You're right, I was basing 3pm on my recollection of Greek time which is an hour later.
iPhones are great with standby time. The mini battery power for me won’t be enough. Even tho I’m around chargers, I didn’t like my experience of constantly using the battery case with the se2. The routine got old.
I returned that real quick and that is what I think the 12 mini battery life will be.
