Ordered a Black 256gb 12 Mini with an estimated delivery date date of November 23rd. It'll replace a iPhone 11 Pro 256GB.
Once we get closer to Christmas and regular people know it’s out there. It will sell like nobody’s business.
Same as me except I went for blue. I really never got used to the weight of the 11 Pro in my hand.
iPhone Mini with the Max's camera is something I'd pay for.

Approximately 164 hrs to go until the new mini is in my hand. 
I ordered a 12 mini. If I like it, my 11 Pro will be put up for sale. Both models are black with 256GB.
I do hope Apple makes a battery case...

I have people in my family that have no idea apple released phones but my nephew I know is getting a phone for Xmas. I would bet a paycheck he gets the mini. That will be played out all across the world.
I'm not sure but 2 weeks isn't that long. My iPad Pro took all of 6 weeks when I ordered this year.
Totally agree. I forget sometimes the little bubble we MacRum members live in here. Not everyone is as plugged into this us and specifically the subscribers of this thread. My wife, who I ordered the 12 Pro for a few weeks idea had no clue I was ordering a phone different than hers or that the mini even existed.
The better metric is probably delivery estimates given the vast majority of consumers don't go to the Apple Store.
Maybe, but then the minis have slipped too on delivery. There were still pros in the afternoon of pre orders, but now they say the demand was higher than expected. So who really knows
Which model of the mini has slipped? They all still show Nov. 13 for me.
Black 256gb. It looks like almost all the colors in 256gb are pushed back.
The max has very few colors and capacities that are still for Nov. 13, but way less push back. Most seem to be the next week delivery. After day one pro was pushed back 2 weeks on most.
“Downgrading” from an 11PM 256 GB to a 12 Mini 128 GB. I’m on the iPhone upgrade program and could not justify spending $57 per month when I’m home all the time and the last time I took a meaningful picture was over a month ago. I’ll be home for the next few months it seems due to the pandemic. Maybe next year I’ll go back to the Max line when hopefully we are back to some level of normal and there are things worth capturing on camera.
If I hate the experience with the Mini, may make the jump to the 12 Pro. But even that’s almost $53 per month ...

I also have a feeling they produced many more minis than the pro max - Apple expects to sell more non-pro phones and I think the volume will probably reflect that (initially demand too will outpace the rest of the year making the initial pro slip faster)
Ordered black 64gb. Need a day or two to choose a silicone case color, but those ship faster.
Yes, I had planned to use my iPhone X for another year (and stated it several times).
And ...my iPhone is not getting that much use during the pandemic (iPad is king at home), BUT...
It’s critical that I have two working phones. And since I‘m a picky MR reader who never wants to be in that nightmare situation where an iPhone must be replaced ASAP, but want you want is not available, I’m thinking that buying the mini and keeping my X in the drawer as a spare during the pandemic is a sensible plan.
And since I’ll have a spare, I skipped AC+ on the mini. With AC+ and a case, it’s a ”thousand dollar“ phone, but a $750 (after tax) phone is MUCH easier to justify. EDIT: yeah, with case it’s an $800 phone, but that’s our secret.

Today I had in my hands the official silicone case of the 12 mini in my hands and it felt absolutely perfect in my hands. Like it was meant for me.
My mini will change the meaning of Friday the 13th
12 hours later here and all size black mini's still available for Friday, yikes.
