Mint green has the most slipped dates for all sizes.

For all colours but the red, the 256 GB has a slipped date.

This to me looks like the perfect phone size-wise and I love the new boxy style from the 5/5s days that will be back on the whole lineup. But if it indeed has an OLED screen I will pass and stick with my 11, due to the eye strain Apple's OLED causes me.
They upgraded the flickering speed on iPhone 12 OLED screens so you should test it to see if it still bothers you, it may not now.

iPhone 11 user here, I also ordered a Mini (128GB, black). I don't think there has been an iPhone I wanted more in the last years, in general only the original iPhone and X that I maybe couldn't wait for a little more. Already have a Spigen case although I almost never use a case, but just "in case" ^^... It is the perfect size for me. My job includes traveling a LOT, well almost only travelling, so normally I should buy at least the 12, maybe 12 Pro Max. But I wanna go back to using my phone as a phone with some internet stuff and not as my main computer always using it, all the time. I'm in general not a person who has a phone addiction but maybe the Mini makes me using my phone even less in unnecessary situations. Just normal use, no useless turning it on just to do something. I cannot wait to hold it in my hands on Friday. Really excited. Maybe a little addicted haha.

And I am too voting for a magsafe "clip-on" battery pack while still using the phone, no battery case please. And Apple would be dumb not to release those for the iPhone 12 line. It is simple, imo easy to produce, not a lot to think about and they can make much money with it. Only thing is magnets would have to be strong because you don't want the battery to fall off while using the phone. That's it. I own a good wireless charging battery pack from mophie. But this would really be an extra I would get.

This is exactly what I ordered as well ! Congrats

12 Mini 128GB in black with both the black leather and saddle brown cases and a HomePod mini all ordered today. Went smoothly with the Barclays Pre-Approved 0% finance option.

Cannot wait to go back to an iPhone that is small and lightweight.
Amazon have the Apple leather cases for £48 if you fancy a small saving on RRP

Sorry for my dirty cases but to have an idea.
(From: SE1 > mini > SE2 >11)
The mini really is the small phone people will scoup up. Glad Apple had the “courage” (I can’t help it) to realize they can make a ton of money making a small powerful phone.

I bet you anker will make a sweet MagSafe case! It’s too obvious and too cool not to make it.

About the shipping times. I don't think many potential iPhone 12 mini buyers are early adopters. Some like us are, but not many. Many early adopters are techies or at least very interested in tech and often buy Pro models or bigger phones. Imo the Mini will be sold constantly but not in big numbers at once. People who own small iPhone SE 1 pr 6S or 7 could be the possible target group but those often wait, they waited for years, why now wait some more months. Maybe for a lower price or how the phone is being reviewed, or the next contract upgrade etc. 12 Pro Max is for power users, often upgrading every year, often techies etc.

Good point. Long term it will be a success much like the XR. It was derided at launch but became a success.
