My X got to 90% after 3 years... so i doubt it will be 5-6months for me ;)
Same here! My 11 (though only a year old), is still 100%- so I suspect with my relatively light use I will be fine, too, for quite some time in regards to battery life.

I get 2 full days out of my 11, so I figure with the 12 mini I should get maybe a day and a half- which is still pretty good. Adding to it using night mode all the time, and turning off 5G, maybe that will help even more?

For folks who are too much into battery, I keep saying this..battery will be good for this phone for first 100 to 150 charge cycles. The battery challenges will be observed after 5-6 months when we will be at 90% of battery capacity or lower. So do keep that in mind when trying to decide on this phone.
That’s why I upgrade every year to a new model. I aim to ruin the battery during my ownership, I want to see the % decrease for fun. So I charge it whenever, wherever, I don’t need to baby it.

Wow 100% still that’s impressive. What is your charging routine like?

Hasn't been the case for me! I have had my X for three years, charge every day, battery at 86%.

iJustine putting SE2 next to the 12 mini is a good call!

looks like a slightly taller 4.7" screen at 5.4", a smidge wider.

Not sure why, but as someone who has a jailbroken SE2 with X gestures, finding this a bit disappointing honestly.

its cool that a mini is offered now, but not sure it's a 'must leap' if you have SE2 especially since the battery life has been supposedly underwhelming for most reviewers,

Not sure what you expected... the whole point of the Mini is to be Mini.... if you want a bigger screen, you can get the 12. Or the 11 Pro, if you want something in between ;)

I guess I expected something closer to X size experience wise, and a smidge larger even than SE 2 / 4.7" rather than just a 'taller' one screen wise (while shortened body wise)

a taller 4.7" style, to me is a bit underwhelming I guess mostly because I have X gestures on the old form factor and dont mind it so much

it still looks really cool, and I realize I'm not exactly the average Apple consumer but

its almost double the price SE2 vs 12 mini

Having returned my 12, I am seriously considering a 12 mini. Coming from a X, I didn’t like how the 12 felt in my hands, and I’m still not convinced by the colour options. But for the money saved, I could get over this and i think the 12 mini could feel better in hand than the 12. I‘m not sure how much different the smaller screen will be compared to the X, surely just some adjustment in typing?!
I'm coming from an X too. I got the 12 pro- too heavy. Then I got the 12- lighter but still a bit uncomfortable as far as reachability and one-handed use. I'm 6'4 with average size hands.

I'll get the mini on Friday and report back. I'm excited for it. Battery could be the only downside, but we'll see.

I have cases coming for the mini. However, I may go ceaseless and just use a glass protector for the back and a screen protector. I have 4 more days until mini delivery. I am looking forward to seeing the blue in person.

Out of curiosity but how do you charge your iPhone 11? (Wireless? Original 5w charge brick? Well what is your routine? Thx!

looks like noone has linked this video in this topic yet... (even though most of you have likely already seen it)

interesting that he mini actually has a smaller bezel and notch afterall. the difference is small, but visible when you compare it directly:
