Thanks for these comparisons. I’ve yet to open my silicone 12 mini case until my phone arrives tomorrow, and the box makes it look larger than I expected.
I went with 128GB. Currently using 51.7GB out of 256GB on my 11 Pro Max and currently subscribe to 2TB iCloud storage (family).
I normally go for 64GB and I'm using 42GB after deleting stuff. This time I went for 128GB for the extra £50 so I could use it freely when I don't have a data connection (like when traveling etc). It is £100 extra from 128 to 256, so if your usage justifies it then go for it.
I think from all the reply and someone did a survey on here and on Reddit and I think it was green and red. Which is what I got for my wife and myself.
I’m going with 128GB, which I think is the sweet spot in terms of pricing, unless you are certain you will need more storage.

Is the main point of MagSafe a faster charge? I don't think I personally would buy MagSafe since I already have a Qi cradle. The mini should charge fairly quick with just standard Qi I think.
Do you have a link to your bumper if you don't mind? I'd like to check it out.
I went with the base 64GB because I have 64GB in my 2016 SE and and only using 28GB of space and most of that is podcasts that come and go. I couldn't justify spending money on storage I won't use, I'll spend that money on accessories.
It looks like this year’s leather case has thinner leather than previous years.
If I want to fast charge I'll use the USB-C to lightning cable into a power adapter. This will always be faster than MagSafe. The Qi charger is for over night while I'm sleeping so it doesn't have to be fast. My only concern is getting a Qi charger where the magnetic coils line up since the Mini body is so much smaller. This is not an issue with a Qi pad but it might be with a Qi stand.
