The better question is why wouldn’t you? Unless you have the Pro. Because if you’re a professional smartphone user you may have a business need

Planning to keep my 13 Pro for another long while I hope. I sell phones at work so it‘s always tempting to upgrade. That said I did stop myself from going from the 11 Pro to the 12 Pro (probably because the only meaningful upgrade to me was the design and after 10 minutes that wouldn’t matter much). Ideally I’d like to keep this phone for 3-5 years because I’ve never tested how long I could keep an iPhone for since I get tempted by new shiny things haha.

Will hold on to this baby till Late Fall 2025, iPhone Pro 13 Pro Max is a keeper and all I need iPhone wise especially since it’s 512GB which warrants keeping your Apple device longer; can’t say same for other tech products.

Plus I have dropped this heavy phone tons of times with a simple basic thin spigen rubberized case and no screen protector and it has not one time scratched or cracked, the screen is flawless unless seated next to a current Samsung device.

What will the iPhone 14 offer for business users that can’t be done on a 12 or 13? Lots of people in business use older iPhones for instance. Most if the account managers in my company are using iPhone 11’s and 12’s and I’ve not heard of any hindrances from doing so.

I'm on an iPhone x - battery health at 81% . I'm on my second iPhone X given through insurance in 2020. It's chugging but i'm going to try and hold out for the 15. Given it will potentially have USB-C, periscope camera etc.

What's this about the foldable Iphone in 2025?

The "Pro" marketing hook seems to be working...

The “Pro” stands for profit at this point. But hey, gotta have the frosted back design.

I actually think Apple’s better about it being Pro than say the pixel or other ”Pro“ phones. They have better cameras (like most Pro phones) but they also have Pro Res and Pro Raw which are professional features imo. I agree it’s a bigger profit incentive for Apple but I also think it’s a rare instance where pro actually means something.

So we are about two months away from the annual iPhone event and I’m sure I’m not the inky one who’s excited about it.

With that said, I’ll skip the 14 PM since I just got my 13 PM and intend to keep it for 2-3 years because it’s just a phenomenal iPhone. It’s the peak of the iPhone X design and function. It’s about time I give my bank account a break for a couple of years since I’m settled into the 2021 flagships in the forms of 13 PM, Ti S7 and the M1 Pro.

Who else is gonna skip the 14 (any models) and why?
No you need to update to the 14pm it’s gonna be the best iPhone ever 😎😎

I'm also 100% keeping my iPhone 13 Pro this year.

Apple have reached the pinnacle in iPhone design so I really can't be doing with the whole upgrade process this year JUST for a better camera or any other incremental changes they may make.

Add the fact that my 13 Pro has literally sat on my desk this past year (whilst working from home) - there really is no incentive for me to upgrade.

:)
Look apple wants you to upgrade. There will be carrier promotions theyll pay your 13 pm off blah blah keep you with them for 24+ months it will be good . Just upgrade

The next real incentive for me to change phone will be a significant form factor change, I don't mean whether a notch is there or anything, but size and shape.

Or features that only the latest model that is a revelation.
