Me.

I’m sticking with my 13PM for at least another couple of years - I’m done with upgrading every year given the changes from year to year are minimal and this phone gives me everything I need (including amazing battery life).

I very much doubt that. Current rumors for the next SE are for a 5.7" model, and the SE line was never a “small form-factor” model, but a “former mainstream form-factor” model.

Yes, and this is what makes this 5.7” mini rumour confusing, as currently there are no 5.7” iPhones, as we all know. And so far Apple has never released an essentially new iPhone as an “SE”, always recycling the used components instead.

I will be sticking to my 12 mini for now, as so far it works great for my needs.

I would assume it is the X/XS/11Pro (5.8") chassis with minimally smaller display, similar to how the iPad Air 10.9" relates to the iPad Pro 11".

This would be great, as iPhone 11 Pro had a fantastic battery! Let’s see if this happens.

I’ll be holding onto my 13 Pro Max and I’m a yearly upgrader since the first gen. The 13 Pro Max is just about the perfect phone to me and I’ll wait until there is no notch or pill shaped cutout or anything like that before I upgrade again. I think that’ll be in 2024.

I am planning on keeping my SB 13 Pro…

But if they bring out a purple Pro series? No guarantee . Purple is my kryptonite.
This is me. I’m a serial upgrader but trying to reform myself for environment’s sake. My 13P SB is a terrific phone in a beautiful color but purple will make upgrade tempting for me. IMO though, pill + hole-punch is unsymmetrical and even uglier than notch so that’s not a plus for me - can’t understand why they couldn’t implement simple hole-punch. I also have S22U - its camera is phenomenal and hole punch is so clean. Anyway, I’m on wait-and-see for upgrade - will prolly depend on how enticing trade-in offer is.

I got my 13 for free with Verizon and have to stay with it for two years so I won't be upgrading. I wouldn't get a 14 regardless as based on the rumors they aren't going to have any new Improvements that I would be interested. The main improvement I want out of a new iphone is lower weight. Give me a 6.7" iphone that weights 6 ounces and then I would become extremely interested. If not, then I'm not interested.

Also, I'm not a fan of the flat sides on my 13, I'll wait for the curved sides to come back.

So we are about two months away from the annual iPhone event and I’m sure I’m not the inky one who’s excited about it.

With that said, I’ll skip the 14 PM since I just got my 13 PM and intend to keep it for 2-3 years because it’s just a phenomenal iPhone. It’s the peak of the iPhone X design and function. It’s about time I give my bank account a break for a couple of years since I’m settled into the 2021 flagships in the forms of 13 PM, Ti S7 and the M1 Pro.

Who else is gonna skip the 14 (any models) and why?

Well I would say stick onto the 13 but due to apples "due" date for the iPhone coming I would give it back to apple and get the 14

As the 14 starts a new line of iPhone the new standard. This will as leaks suggest have no notch the iPhone 15 will carry from the iPhone 14 and also have no notch the 13 will get out dated as fast as possible.

Lets go back in time you have iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 is launching in September from leaks and info suggest notch ... yes you would be correct to keep your iPhone. Its going to feel like having an iPhone 8 plus and everyone around you has the iPhone x desgin now my phone is outdated and old no one cares.

The 14 will set the new "standard" for apples iPhone so you should get rid the 14 will have the newest tech and features. Unless you wanna be a tumble weed or be a cowboy its up 2 u :)

Personally I‘m happy to stick with the notch for a little while longer. Much prefer the symmetry and it’s clear the ”no notch” approach encroaches further into the display. People are split on the redesign. In no way can this be considered on par with the total removal of bezels from 8 to X. (Note: pic edited to fill in the hole)

I used to hang onto my previous phone but quit and now sell it back to Apple. I know I could get more money but they have always given me what they promised with zero hassle.

Not me, I have a streak to keep going :) I've had the 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5S, 6, 6S, 7, X, iPhone XS Max, 11 Pro Max, 12 Pro Max, 13 Pro Max. It's a problem.

Depends if I want a bigger screen phone and the features of the 14 Pro are worth getting.

Otherwise, I'm sticking with my 13 Mini.

No plans to upgrade from my 12 does what i need it to do likely replace the battery if/when needs it

Don't see the point in upgrading every year anymore the upgrades don't seem worth it

I just upgraded to a 13 Pro. My previous phone was a 7. My phone before that was a 4. So guess what, im planning to stick with my 13 Pro for the foreseeable future.

I’m the opposite, I skipped the 13 because I have a 12 mini but will be getting the 14 pro because of the notch being removed.

I’m the opposite as well and have a launch day 12 Pro Max that I still love. The only issue is the battery have to be charged 2-3 times a day and I’m upgrading to the 14 Pro Max for better battery life.

I’m usually a yearly upgrader, but I put myself on a 2 year upgrade cycle with the 12 Pro Max. From that point, I started saving for the 14 Pro Max monthly and will continue on that path from here on out unless Apple wow me with the 15 Pro Max and I’ll skip my 2 year cycle with that series.
