That kinda seems too low. I thought UK had higher median income than US?
In the US, I believe median is ~$55K and $75K puts one in the 25%.
Definitely not rich but fairly low overhead—no kids, brown bag lunches, rarely buy clothing and shoes, use cars for 10+ years. Tech is my splurge category.

I am lucky as both myself and my wife have good jobs, so even with two kids, it means that we can make purchases or fix car/boiler/etc if we need to without cutting back on food/clothes/holidays.
But that doesn't mean i don't consider a £769 purchase carefully beforehand...

Ordered the 11” 64gb to replace my Air 2. It will be a consumption device, a little over kill but I really wanted that bigger screen and form factor.
Heh when you said "consumption" i had visions of you eating your dinner off it even though i know what you meant.
now if you could use an ipad pro as a plate then you WOULD be rich.
