How does it wear over time? Looking to get the exact same one with a different dial color (white or black probably)

Wearing this Rolex milly and I absolutely adore it..

Ive always been drawn to the milgauss, in particular the non ‘glasse verde’ black faced model and eventually picked one up.
I intend on giving it to to my grandson on his 21st birthday in 2038.
I hope he enjoys it as much as I do:)

Ooo, I quite like that. Link?

Thanks! Sorry no link, it is the original leather strap from omega, the Seemaster 300 either comes with the steel bracelet or this. You can order it at the omega boutiques or certified retailers, but don't be shocked when you see the price tag..

Odd. When I purchased mine, I was told only the steel bracelet was available at the time. Or rather they meant it as in "at the time," meaning that's what they had in stock. Who knows. Thanks, I'll have to look into it. I prefer leather strap during the summer since it's cooler than steel, especially when outside. As someone who went a little strap crazy a few years ago... don't remind me.

Always fun researching and playing with aftermarket straps.

Very nice Audemars! I like it a lot, unfortunately I do not wear my Audemars much at all!! I wear my Apple Watch S3+LTE more than my Rolex, Audemars, Bulova, Seiko, Armani, and Timex. I am really considering selling my Rolex. It is kind of sad that I do not wear these beautiful timepieces I have. :(

You should wear them and enjoy wearing them.

Enjoy the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Open-worked Extra Thin, - and do wear it.

Actually, I love the appearance of the standard Audemars Royal Oak - but personally, would not seek out the Open-Worked model.

Haha, that is a nice way of basically saying you do not like my watch...just kidding around. It is not for everyone, but I like things that are a little different and set me apart from everyone else. Not for attention either, I just like different things that the chances of me running into someone with the same thing is rare.

With my Rolex, that happens all the time!

Fair comment and each their own. However, while I think the classic Audemars Royal Oak design is gorgeous - if I liked a watch as much as you say you like yours, I would wear it, and enjoy wearing it, as an everyday timepiece.

Added two relatively inexpensive watches to my collection recently. One is a Rotary mechanical watch with an open dial, and the second is the Seiko Sea Urchin that other members have posted already.

This afternoon I found myself in a nice watch shop near where I work to make a few enquiries and left with an order for a Tudor Black Bay 58. It’s something I’d been debating for a while after seeing it announced not too long ago. I figured it would be a reasonable introduction to “nice” watches without being reckless about it. Initially I had a Speedmaster professional on my radar, but after trying it last month didn’t think it was for me.
An interesting experience from a consumers perspective, apart from briefly trying a Speedmaster once, it was the first time I’d been in a store like that.
