You mean the same legacy technology that is still being included in 2018 Macs and rumored to come in the screen of the future iPhones?

So you didn’t quote right did you? Did you read what I quoted and my answer about the fart app? Anyway my answers stands to your quote.
Your point is murky at best given I said nothing about "premium". Anyway my point still stands.

You clearly had a reading issue about what I pointed as premium lol. Go back and read it again.
Throwing around ad-homs doesn't make your point valid, lol. My point stands about the typical itunes app store fart app, earning more money than a "higher quality" google play app. (And that's just my opinion)

Since those Apps are free how do they even earn more money? Because there are more Apple users to download them? If so then that’s what people spend their time with their A11 Bionic chips? :D
Just because it’s on the App Store doesn’t make it better.
Your point is already debunked by your own answer. You should say it out loud looking at a mirror and you’ll understand how ridiculous it sounds.

Fart apps that made millions and poopy emoji...:p

Good, now you got the point.:D
Fart apps that made millions and poopy emoji...seems like fruity phone is famous for things that came out from underside orifice. :p
Seems like a few fart apps are better than the malware infested apps that are on the play store and that can infect the robot operating system.:p If we are going down this road.;)

When I put my 7 Plus in a case, the matte black paint started getting discoloured. I can point out white spots on it at this point. When I put my iPad Pro in a case the chamfered edges scratch easily. There is no avoiding Wear.

Matte black chips easily, always has since inception back on 7.

Don’t really care about the color of mine I think is jet black, I will use it until it dies and buy another when it happens.

Bright orange case with camo pattern looks lovely in business suit but, who cares.

It’s a phone that works, in the woods if lucky, and if standing with one arm pointing to NH and the other to Maine.

The Androids need to go up a tree.

As someone who builds their own computers, I disagree, it doesn't go in unless you force it a bit. But to continue your analogy going to cars, you can connect the positive wire to the negative terminal and blow out your electrical system. Why can't auto makers be sued. I"ll tell you where there is a difference.

The instructions on batteries and cpus are clear and there are visual guidelines. You don't like the instructions/visuals or think they aren't explicit enough, take it up with the respective vendors. No such visual or indication on the note that can have the spen inserted the wrong way. Period.

The manual of the Note has a visual on how the S pen is to be inserted. They even shown the pictures. Who told the user to insert it in reverse?

Also you are wrong about the CPU bit. The pins are extremely fragile. If you so much as apply even a slight bit of force it bends. Happened with one of my buddies and since it was an AMD CPU I was able to straighten it for him.

There is no information on the cpu box that this can happen.

If the phone got blemished by using a case then that defeats the purpose of using a case in the first place.

The matte chips whether in case or not.Think the paint/coating is crap.

Reason I bought basic black, resale won’t happen with me.

Didn’t buy for eventual resale, only blotch I had was on my case when dog clamped on it.

Came off with vinegar that was on otter, she had chewed a remarkably sappy fir tree.

And despite the pita of opening the otter, just pulled phone and no blemishes anywhere, have used this case and phone since 1 week after phones hit marketplace.

Only issue I had was with case 1week after purchase, the clip stopped working. called otter, complained and they sent 3 clips to replace the one that broke and sent phone hurtling down roof to ground below.

Why doesn’t google do a better job of curating it’s platform? Why don’t they do a better job of preventing apps from installing adware all over your device?

The reason they don’t do these things that benefit the consumer is because it doesn’t benefit google.

Google’s interests are in complete conflict with the interests of consumers.

They are one of the most user hostile, anticompetitive companies ever to grace this planet and the sooner they are heavily regulated and broken up the better.

Because that goes against the nature of Android. If Google tried to do what you say they should do and became a control freak on the pLay Store, then Android would be an iOS clone.

MacOS is by nature more secure than Windows. But the day Windows tries to emulate MacOS, I will leave it as I find MacOS claustrophobic nowadays with the amount of control on it. I enjoy Android because it’s free. This freedom can be used as the user wishes.

If the user downloads an unknown app, it’s on him not Google for trying out unknown apps.

As a Google fan, I enjoy their services. They are top notch. I exclusively use them on iPhone so I have absolutely no issues with them using my data if it means the level of quality of heir services is maintained.

I absolutely can not tolerate any other service provider other than Google for my needs.

Is the instruction manual available for every removal and insertion? How many times do you insert and remove a cpu or battery terminals?

Also you are wrong about the CPU bit. The pins are extremely fragile. If you so much as apply even a slight bit of force it bends. Happened with one of my buddies and since it was an AMD CPU I was able to straighten it for him.
The manual is very clear as well as a pictorial on the motherboard. So even if you remove and insert the cpu multiple times, the visual is there to guide you. But in the both of us trying to win an internet point we again are far afield whereby I'm going to concede the rest of this "discussion".

Samsung showed the user how to insert the Spen in an illustration. They have no liability to warn the user about every possible way the phone can get damaged. For instance, many of the iPhone 6 models got bent when a user sat on it. So should Apple now warn users that sitting on the phone will bend it?

From some isolated experiences of some of my acquaintances, using the Apple Pencil on a naked iPad screen has scratched it over the long term. It's only visible to OCD guys like me. Apple gave no warning on the manual that his would happen.

The illustration is as clear as the manual in the Spen. And FYI let me tell you Asus provided a CPU installation tool with the motherboard but comically using it caused the pins to bend for some reason. Since then I have never used them. There is no warning about bent pins though.

Hey cool. Maybe i'll look into it sometime in the future. Probably not though, the last Samsung phone I owned ended up thrown at a wall. (Galaxy SII)

You are judging Samsung based on a phone that came out 7 years ago?

Try using a 7 year old iphone 4 and tell me its anything like the iphone X.

A lot has happened in 7 years.

Nope, the instruction wasn’t on the body of the phone itself, ergo bad design, bad instructions.

The battery terminal and cpu are both clearly labeled on the terminals and mother board.

So I guess it should be common knowledge that crashing your car results
In damage, pouring hot coffee on your self results in burns, dropping your phone could result in damage, sitting in your phone could result in damage. Did you ever really wonder why on a stove a warning about burning yourself is needed?

As far as the scratches in the iPad I would bring it back, sounds like faulty oleophobic coating. But the spen, bad design bad instructions.

And I find iOS instructions much better android butnthat could be my preferences.

There is no label on the motherboard regarding how the CPU is inserted. If you are talking about that small groove mark, they make it so faint that it can only be found out if you have read the manual.

Yes. It all comes down to one thing. If you try to break something it will break.

You don't need any instructions to use either OS. Android is by design more complex than iOS because many users like tinkering with it. Some things are definitely more convoluted on iOS like how it needs iTunes installed to access the file system. On Android it behaves like a connected USB.

There is a label that is peeled off in my system board. One cpu though isn’t meant to be used as an spen. Usually the same cpu is not multiple times removed and reinserted, so my comment stands.

But that spen was an example of poor design as the next note had an engineering update to fix the issue. This is much different than if I sit on my phone it will bend.

When I picked iOS over android, I decided ios was easier to learn. But then why are there getting started manuals if one doesn’t need instructions.(this applies to both o/s’) Not accessing the file system like windows definitely makes the o/s easier to learn.

A mere half hour ago I was handed an Android phone I had given someone a while ago (Vodafone Smart Ultra 6) because the battery life was tanking.

I turned it on to find an advert plastered over the lock screen. Looking through the apps installed, there was something called ‘power battery’, an app to apparently optimise battery life and monitor battery health.

Reading a few reviews on it, it’s apparent it does exactly the opposite of what was claimed and also litters your device with adverts. This was installed from the Google Play Store.

Why on earth have Google designed their devices to allow consumers to be so flagrantly abused in this fashion? Why can an app plaster adverts all over the device? It’s just unbelievably and laughably bad. Android has to be the very worst thing to have happened to technology in the last decade allowing consumers to be blatantly abused by advertisers and bad actors, whether that be a Google or the developer of this app. And the amazing thing is some people WILLFULLY bend over and accept this abuse.

I need to get this poor woman an iPhone.

You're right that iOS is better in this regard since you don't need to install clearly questionable apps to slow down your iPhone but Apple will throttle it secretly.

A lawsuit doesn't mean apple did it. All it means is that a lawsuit was filed. We will have to wait to see the outcome.
???????
Where have you been the last couple of months? Probably with your Apple Glasses on, most likely.
I won’t even argue with you anymore, you signed the AFB form right now with that claim.

There is a grain of truth in his post. I do think that if you have no tech skills whatsoever, or simply that you're as thick as a brick then an iPhone will be more forgiving of such shortcomings.
I take issue with the insinuation people who are tech savvy or into computing don’t use iPhones. It’s a point he makes an awful lot and one that is categorically false in my own personal experience and I would imagine a lot of other people’s.

The point isn’t whether a label is there or not. Where is it stated that inserting it wrong will destroy the CPU?

The weaker structure of the iPhone 6 was also a design flaw as phones were not supposed to bend so easily once sat on. Which is why it got fixed on iPhone 6s.

Because there may be people coming from flip phones.

Android is very easy if you use a Pixel. If you buy a Chinese clone that may not be the case.
