Wow, Away from some of the Yellow variations the Xr are in plenty of supply! Maybe not as much of a hit as others on the thread have predicated???
It'll be that 2001 screen tech.

No iPhones sell out immediately in recent years. The 8, X and XS were all available in the days after launch and the pre order for the XR has been a few hours so far lol. That extra 20% is the reason newer iPhones are struggling against older models here. Probably the reason the iPhone X was the eighth best selling last year.I guess i should have bought from the UK store. And pay a extra ~20%

The funny thing being the iPhone 8 has been selling well recently and I had to wait due to stock issues for mine. The X took a few days to sell out near me but was available again within a week last year. The XR is tipped to sell well and I think it’ll undoubtedly sell the best out of all iPhones this year. Will it sell out in a few hours completely? I’ve not claimed that nor have I seen anybody here say that.Except that’s not the case. iPhone 8 was just an iPhone 7S with an X coming soon so who cares. X was back ordered quickly. XS Max was as well.
But this XR? This was your wonder phone. It was going to sell out instantly or hear people talk. Cheap. Current processor. Cute little colors. And never mind if it had a cheap crap screen, no 3D Touch, worse speakers, low end mats, a lame camera, less ram, or cheap looking aluminum. It was awesome. Going to be their best seller. But umm. Oops. Guess not. Too big. Too many corners cut. Another 5C.

Clueless is assuming your experience translates to every other region.I Guess they didn't want my $1300 from day one...SMH clueless

What? Why? Never really heard anyone that disappointed about OLED.
The XR was never going to be a launch day sellout. That’s not the market it’s aimed at. The die hard musthavethelatestrightnow users are all sitting pretty with their XS/Max. The XR is not targeted at that consumer. It’s aimed squarely at the enormous base of of 5s/6/6s/7 users who are likely to be upgrading over the coming year. The XR will come to outsell the XS in enormous numbers.Except that’s not the case. iPhone 8 was just an iPhone 7S with an X coming soon so who cares. X was back ordered quickly. XS Max was as well.

Why would others care that your region sold out then? It renders your point irrelevant surely? Why would i care about any other region other than the one I'm buying at???
I preordered my XS Max midday on Friday for in-store pickup, and I know many people walked into the store to pick them up on launch day
That said, the XR will clearly be widely available for purchase upon release
