That should be young enough. Maybe you gave up your vCard to early.

On another note, I know the original leakers suggested a 24" AS iMac in the Fall; is that no longer the consensus? It seems more and more like leakers are only suggesting AS laptops in the Fall?

Kuo's report that day was all about MacBook releases and shipments. Kuo not discussing the 24" iMac isnt evidence he has changed his prediction for a Q4 iMac. If Kuo has changed his prediction for the iMac I'd have expected him to say so.Yep the last predictions are the updated MacBook Air and a 13 inch MacBook Pro without MiniLED, both under Apple Silicon. I think this is the last guess from Kuo.

Kuo: Apple Silicon Macs to Include 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air This Year, 14.1-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro Models Next Year
At last month's WWDC, Apple officially announced that its Mac computers will be transitioned from Intel x86 to homegrown Apple Silicon chips....www.macrumors.com

Maybe Yes maybe not. These f**** are so cryptic...Kuo's report that day was all about MacBook releases and shipments. Kuo not discussing the 24" iMac isnt evidence he has changed his prediction for a Q4 iMac. If Kuo has changed his prediction for the iMac I'd have expected him to say so.
you've held out this long, if not next week then maybe four weeks of August. How quickly can you find a used iMac Pro? Even I contemplated that as well. One more week then I’m done waiting. It’ll be a used 2017 iMac Pro for me and no AS until the 2nd or 3rd generation.
Twitter lit up this morning about next week. If it really does happen next week then full kudos to @DrRadon who had this hunch a month ago.
If it doesn't happen next week then I do know for sure the War for Cybertron Trilogy will be out. Cant really lose next week.![]()
I only found out the other day (9to5Mac HH podcast), that the reason Apple gave up with Nvidia (or one of the reasons), was that Apple wanted final sign-off of the GPU drivers, but Nvidia wanted full control.
Perhaps very common knowledge, but I hadn't heard of it before!

I decided to put any new Mac purchasing on hold when ARM was announced. My 6,1 Pro will do just fine for another 12 months when I hope there will be an ARM iMac to move across too.

AS - 2nd or 3rd generation is a better wait. All the armchair pundits are thinking this will be a hit but with anything tech the first generation always has issues and AS wont be any different.
Yup next week is it for me too. After that I’m either buying an iMac Pro or getting a super nice 32” 4K display from Ben-Q.
AFAIK and most of those other acronyms have been around for 20+ years. No idea what the point of someone's age has to do with it. 😆
The image retention on my 2014 5k 27" is getting pretty horrendous... getting impatient >_<
I came back to this thread after a while. Small recap: next week should be THE week?

Azrael, I know you like high res monitors, but 32k is a bit much...A 32k BenQ display can be had for £450-ish. A lot cheaper than an iMac Pro.
I'm still hopeful we will see a ~24" AS iMac alongside whatever portable(s) they release.

What a joke. We were eagerly waiting for months chewing every bit of rumor, just for Apple to hint new iMacs on wwdc but still not give a specific release date. I mean, what’s the point in announcing new products and not letting your customers know when they will be available exactly? Especially if the new iMacs drop in this fall, so soon after the wwdc, I don’t see why we shouldn’t know about it already.
