I’m afraid it did not. A bit too strong and too “yeasty”, or is it “hoppy”?

Given that it is an IPA, most likely the hops. What a weird combo and I agree with @Scepticalscribe this name would be more conducive to a beer style in the stout and/or porter style.

Had a rather clean and refreshing German beer this weekend, a "Bigburger Premium Pils". While I am not a big Pilsner guy, this one was actually really good and like I mentioned previously, it was clean and rather crisp. My favorite beer from this brewery, and actually one of my favorite beers period, is their "Kostritzer Scwarzbier".

Also took in a rather delightful DIPA from Stone Brewery that went by the name of "Inveitable Adventure Double IPA". Holy smokes, this was one tasty DIPA. It was really good.

Had two really good Stouts over the weekend.

Founders: Breakfast Stout - Always a treat and pleasure to consume.
Dark Horse: Too Cream Stout - Was rather delicious. While not a barrel aged stout it was still rather tasty and just what I was looking for.

Founder's Breakfast Stout is always a welcome treat - I must say that I am most partial to it.

The other, I have not heard of but will admit that it sounds most intriguing.
