And a dark beer from Germany - Erdinger Dunkel - is keeping me company this evening.
I hope they’ve improved how they transport it. Guinness tastes lovely in Ireland and ok in Britain. I tasted in further abroad once and it hadn’t travelled well at all.
Personally, I prefer the "export" versions of Guinness, which - to my palate - taste better (and they tend to come with a somewhat higher ABV, as well).
Made a run yesterday and got two different 6 packs from a nearby brewery - a decent, middle of the road Czech-style Pilsner (the 'Krossteiner') and the best local IPA IMO (the 'Fairy Necter')

An Old Speckled Hen - a "Distinctive English Pale Ale" is going down rather well this Friday evening.

When buying Estonian beers, I'd stick to their take on classic German styles, which they have mastered.
However, some UK and Irish breweries do excellent IPAs.
