That is a good choice, I have several bottles of it in my collection. I will have to dust off one of the bottles for tomorrow. Enjoying my victory Guinness at the expense of AFB, lol!

Actually, it is excellent; it is by far the nicest Californian wine I have ever had the privilege of sampling, savouring and sipping.

Having a cold Stella in my Stella Chalace while listening to the Who's concert at Leeds. One of the best live concerts in my opinion.
The beer on the right - one I have not laid eyes on before now - looks fascinating; the photo doesn't allow me to read much; is it a Germna dark beer?
Anyway, what is it like?
Yeah it’s Spaten ( German dark ) and tried it for the first time. Not my kind really.. too malty sweet ( molasses perhaps ) taste that just annoyed me, for lack of a better description lol!

That sounds like perfect Christmas drinking, but, for the rest of the year, other beers may work better.
And a St Bernardus Abt 12, a robust, splendid Belgian quad (quadrupel), a serious Belgian abbey ale, or dark beer.
Relaxing with a Stella in front of the fireplace with the critters.
Sounds a lovely way to spend an evening; do enjoy.
My second (and last) beer of the night is a St Bernardus Pater 6.
