A wonderful Westmalle Trappist Tripel, served in a Westmalle beer chalice, or glass, or goblet.
I wonder whether a sipping, sampling, savouring, a Westmalle beer lies in my future this evening.
A very mineral Meursault. It’s the kind that turn your head up side down. Hard to describe the feeling but great to enjoy.
Then, bone dry, too.
Does it also have the full rich depth of flavour that I hope to experience from a Meursault?

Temps are well up in the 80s F (in the 30s C) so it is time for some local rose...
It actually is pretty light and refreshing. It is Pinot Grigio with 1% Barbera added for color.
We definitely have some wine calling as we are going to hang out at a friends winery...

Well we live in wine country so we have a lot of friends that have either a winery, vineyard or work in the wine industry. We ourselves have zero interest in growing grapes as it is the best way to have a million bucks if you start with 2 million.
But it is pretty nice to have many local wineries to go to and have friends at many of them that make hanging out drinking wine so much better.
