A good caveat -- if it can be dialed way back, I'll update sooner for sure.

It definitely needs some sort of slider in settings where your can set you preferred translucency options for readability. Not just an on / off setting. And menu bar needs its own setting.

You shouldn’t compromise design and usability. The two can coexist if it’s done correctly.
