Why can’t preview come to iOS?

Why does the weaker iPad mini get to run a Split View/multitasking but the more powerful iPad Pro somehow can’t? Like it doesn’t even need to offer all the windows, etc. but let us have two apps running together isn’t unreasonable…

Is this all being gatekept for the “iPhone fold” next year?

I thought they were gonna add an Audio Mixer like Windows had had since Vista or whatever... but no, your music will still be stopped when something plays in a different app :(

About time the iPad can do background tasks for a long time! That was one of the most annoying things. Seems like my iPad Pro with 16GB of memory will finally get that memory put to use. BUT it does seem like they will need to focus on battery life for future models if it's going to be capable of more Mac-like tasks.

It's time to sell your Apple stocks. Apple seems to have run out of new ideas, and far behind in Ai.
while I appreciate some of the gimmicks, many of them have already been available on Android devices for a long time.. But when other big guys are talking about how to conquer an alien planet, Apple appears to be stuck in tribal skirmishes..
As long as Android and Windows keep the bar this low, it doesn't matter. Android apps literally behave like malware to track users, and Windows isn't much better...

It may finally be time to purchase an iPad after years of waiting. Bring on the new Pro models.
