I am glad for changes in iPadOs. Buying a keyboard seems reasoned now. When it is time to retire my M1Pro MacBook, I can get an iPad pro instead.

This may be the first time I heard "This is the biggest iPad OS update to date", and I went yeah it definitely is.

Considering I've been disappointed the last couple years this actually surprised me in a good way.

New UI, about time.

iPad and Vision Pro still remain as great ways to watch videos etc and that’s all they will be.

I feel like Mac Pro is about to be shown...

Welp.. 2 minutes later.. That didnt age well lol

If they had just never mentioned improved Siri/personal context last year they could’ve just gotten away with this silly, dumbed down version of AI and we would have still felt disappointed, but not betrayed.

I hope this at least comes to iOS (iPhone, so tired of this made up distinction between iPhone and iPad, I want multitasking on my phone)
Exactly! Before a flight or camping trip I like to download shows, playlists and maps offline. I can't leave those apps to reply to a text or answer a call because it will suspend. Sucks if the connection you're on is slow so you essentially can't use your phone until its done.
