Now we just need Apple Intelligence to proactively edit comments with Writing Tools so comments can be easier to read. ;)

I'm just messing with ya.
actually after the whole AI thing (I am a sceptic a bit but whatever) and seeing those nicely polished posts on reddit I deliberately started to write much more messy and without correcting myself. There is something odd about ai writing, they are all like if you are going to write something without much essence but in a such nice and correct way and you can spot easily 50% of reddit is nowadays full of ai bot posts talking to each other. until AI learns to predict mistakes and implement some on its own side just to blend in more and be more human, I will write in such a messy way. SORRY I know it is hard to read ;/

TLDR. I'm not en native and searching for excuse for studying grammar (bc I hate it) :D

Stop spreading this false tale. If that was true military, medical, banking and corporate apps wouldn't even touch Android. All app store platforms have had malicious apps fly under their "review" process. Don't download what you don't need.
It's not false, was reported on major news sites: https://arstechnica.com/security/20...izing-android-users-web-browsing-identifiers/

Not only are corporate apps fine with this type of tracking, they're often the ones doing it.

Admit it. At least one of you is going to invite your Mac-fan friends over tonight to watch the recorded Keynote... and challenge them to a drinking game where you all take a swig whenever you hear the word "delightful."
I'll take delightful over, "You're gonna love it" 🤣

The whole event was unwatchable. The production values, writing and staging were all just very...cringey. Im sure that Apple has enough money to hire a few big directors and actors to entertain us as well as give us the WWDC updates. Keep Kevin and Tim and the rest of the crew in the background.

This is an over exaggeration, Samungs events are far worse and a lot more cringy. There wasn’t a lot announced today but i feel that there are quality of life improvements and other things that weren’t announced. There will probably be new features also announced alongside the new iPhones in September, there’s usually at least one new feature.

The iPad OS features were great and a real highlight for me.

Decent keynote with plenty of nice QOL updates, especially on iPad. It's the iPhone that's in a state of atrophy at this point, specifically in regard to Siri. I'm considering getting an Android phone for the first time in my life.

Take the plunge. I spent years on Android and was FULLY satisfied.

These days, it doesn't really matter which platform you pick; we are spoiled for choice and quality is everywhere.

I came back to Apple simply for the integration, as I'm not giving up my iPad, Mac, or Watch (yet).

That would kind of kill MacBook Air sales so differences need to remain.

No they don’t. We’re not living in 2008. Let people decide for themselves. Apple still gets the sales. I’d rather buy a 1T 3000$ iPad 14" M5 Pro than IPad Air and MacBook Air.

It’s a great app.

the intel 2019 doesn’t get Tahoe?

The only 2019 Macs that gets Tahoe is the 16 inch MacBook Pro and Ac Pro. They dropped 2020 MacBook Air (Intel), the dropped 2018 Mac mini, 2019 MacBook Pro 13”, 15”, 2020 MacBook Pro 13”, 2019 iMac.

2020 MacBook Air Intel was released half year before M1 MacBook, and it get discounted. Only 5 years of OS updates. This is very annoying.

This is for sure the final year of Intel.

Ah yes, welcome to MacRumors...filled with people who hate Apple and don't use their products, but come here anyway to say how bad everything is. It's been quite a while since I was here, but you haven't changed at all.
Criticizing Apple’s products isn’t the same as being hateful. Millions of users like us genuinely appreciate Apple and want its products to be the best they can be. We voice our concerns because we care and expect better.

Not long enough..

Nearly everyone here is using Apple products. I don't hate Apple, but I really, really, really, dislike the new OS designs.

I don't install betas, so I'll wait for other people to test and post.

It's so bad it almost defies belief.

If anyone thinks this is "good", please tell me you do anything other than design work.
Imagine being the "designer" exposed to present & gaslight users with this.

If you think about it, they couldn't be bothered to change the top icons (network, battery, carrier, etc) color to dark, when your background is white-ish.

Their UX leads should be ashamed of the current state.

Everything looks nice, especially iPadOS. I keep refreshing the developer download page but it's still down for maintenance.

It seems like they don't have the capacity to focus on all OSes equally. Every year, there’s at least one platform that gets nothing. This year, it was watchOS’ turn (alongside tvOS). Last year, it was iPadOS, where the main feature was a tab bar in about three apps, which already seems obsolete.

Garbage, There is no anything anymore....I'm going to jump ship on mobile. There is no innovation just sprinkles of go oh my god look at this cool feature you can now add a period to the end of the sentence. Look at the android features we added. No Preview for iOS 👎 Hell if they added round icons or a choice of old and round the os would feel new to get more new users to 1. keep existing users and 2. add more android users. Tim Cook needs to go period there is no drive anymore.
Wait just saw this a pointer was added to iPadOS for more precision..who is making these choices? this feature should have been the second they added the trackpad support. Its like they're saving the obvious so they don't have things to run out of. Dude start taking risks stop stretching.

I thought it was great. Both content and presentation. I’d much rather have Apple employees than paid actors.

This dude nails it: https://www.cnbc.com/video/2025/06/...ock-says-moffettnathansons-craig-moffett.html

“Apple is now more of a consumer staple than a high growth IT company which is the multiple it’s priced at.” He puts a price target of $141 on AAPL while not slamming the company at all. Lots of head winds & no innovation.
Yeah I agree with this. Apple hasn't produced anything in a long time to get excited over. They just repackage their existing products and services. They're way behind in the AI race to where they aren't even competing with Google, Meta, OpenAI, etc.

That said, I love their products and can't imagine not owning a Mac/iPhone/watch/iPad. But from an investment perspective, I can't say I'd want to buy more Apple stock. I've been selling some of the shares I own.
