Yes - the active button on the site doesn't work - currently in a que with chat - was 52 when I joined down to 17 in front of me! My wifes phone went seamless last night.
Just a heads up as soon as I received the email which just happened. From Xfinity saying my phone was delivered I activated it in like two seconds. It seems their just delayed with knowing that the phones have been delivered.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let people know because I had problems as well. If you can’t seem to activate you can probably contact them which will take a while. Or wait until you receive the email notification from Xfinity that your device was delivered and you can then activate it immediately.

Yeah I sort of figured that was the issue - I just want to get it activated and be done with it. I am down to number 7 and I keep refreshing the device screen to see if the magical button appears but so far it still thinks the phone is on the truck it seems.

Got my phone today, but I still can’t seem to activate it. Is anyone else having trouble with the activation of their new phone.
Yes, got my phone this morning, kicked off activation process through the email link, now Xfinity website says “Looks like we ran into an issue with activating your device. Give us a call at (888) 936-4968 and we'll get it worked out.”

Phone support is closed today (?) and chat can’t connect me to anyone or even put me in a queue.

(I’m transferring a line from AT&T, not sure if that’s complicating anything, but the process accepted my info fine.)

This worked for me- so, if it helps other, great. Like you, I read the instructions on the card. Keep your phone off. Went to the site, logged in, did the text to verify- didn’t work, so did the email. Got it, activated, and got to a screen that said “make sure your phone is connected to WiFi.” They are not talking about your new phone. It’s your old phone. Let it do its thing, it will say it’s done, and then turn on your phone and set it up. I think a lot of people are seeing the “make sure it’s connected it WiFi” and turning on their new phone, which, according to many in this thread, breaks the process.

IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE! I ordered late in the day on 9/9 and it arrived at 10am today (Saturday 9/17). I really like the deep purple (14 Pro Max) -- hoping one of the new Loopy cases can show it off without being plain clear. Been using Loopy cases since the iPhone 7 (anyone need an older model? LOL)

ETA -- zero issues activating because thankfully I noticed that the lit said not to turn on the new phone right away. I imagine that is causing some gen-you-whine grief with a capital ARGH! for a lot of people.

anybody figure out how to activate the phone? been trying to get ahold of a live chat agent or someone on the phone but no luck.

EDIT: it took an hour for Xfinity to know the phones had been delivered. Once I got the email from them acknowledging we received it, I was able to start the activation process.
Took one of our phones to the store to activate. Rep confirmed with eSim the system has to show the phone as delivered before it’ll activate. They’re able to bypass that wait in the store. Told them their website needs updated because there’s clearly a link by the tracking that says “Already arrived? Click here to begin activation” but it doesn’t work

So I went to active mine on the website - no SMS so did the email verification and got the code. Put it in and the button would not light up to move onto the next screen. So I tried again and again and again and finally just gave up and went to the store. Came home and boom- was able to do it. But they said I entered the code too many times incorrectly...WTF. It said I needed to go to the store or call the 888 number. So I call the number and they are closed. So I got to the store and they are zero help. Just blamed everything on customer service, didn't believe me until I showed them the site. They tried to call their backline help but it was a 40 min wait...So I waited for about 20 mins and the wait still said 40 mins. So I went into their chat again and requested a call back and left since they couldn't help me anyways. I now am on the line with someone who is attempting to help me but she has no idea what is going on and why it is doing this. I am beyond frustrated no one seems to be able to help.

Ok i ordered it on the 9th and its the 1tb 14 pro max purple, was supposed to be delivered on the 16th but no emails or nothing contacted them many times and they not as knowledgeable but thank god i got fedex text now it will be delivered tomorrow and I didn’t get email confirmation yet from them or anything but i saw today they charged me the money because it desepeared from my cc after the 9th but now i see it, don’t lose hope guys
Just got mine delivered today 9 am :)

for all the 14 Pro Max users, which case, glass, etc you guys are using?
I’ve been using Spigen Glass TR (I get the EZ fit ones) for years- it’s the first thing I bought when I preordered my phone. I also grabbed the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Clear Case- which I don’t actually like that much. The fit feels a little weird on the 14 PM.

What does out of stock means vs back ordered…. Ordered my 14 Pro max deep purple 256 on 9/14 with a ship date of 9/30 and now it says out of stock and grayed out vs the others that still say back ordered?

Ordered mine (14 pro max gold 128) on sept 12, delivery in the blue box says sept 30th but xfinity website says there might be delivery delays, does anyone know if the date is the actual date i’d get it or if it comes earlier in some occasions?

Hmm… my pending charges both disappeared this week too but now one is posted for the one arriving Tuesday and another is pending for the one supposed to arrive October 28.. so I’m wondering if the oct 28 one is going to ship soon 🤷‍♂️
I talked to xfinity and they said that you get charged when the phone ships so if it disappears it just means the bank got rid of it but the order still exists and you’ll be charged again when the phone is on its way. It’s confusing but they guaranteed it wasn’t canceled.

Xfinity support told me that I will receive the phone before Wednesday I have the same date and same model

Me too! I ordered on the 9th PM Black 128 so hopefully it comes early. I have a strong feeling we will get more info tmrrw and it’ll come Wednesday. Let’s hope and pray!
