Got tracking info yesterday for delivery today between 8:30 and 1:20. I had a map showing me 1:20 came and went. Then the map option disappeared and it now says it will be here by 8:00 PM. Sadly, I will be out of my home between 6-8 with no one to sign. 20-minutes to speak to someone at fedex offers no help. No option to ok them to leave it here.
Map disappeared for me too, called FedEx and was told they could see where the truck was and I'd have it within the hour. The driver told me they didn't have any instructions for delivery between 9:10 and 1:10 so I showed him. He also couldn't believe I was able to watch him drive by and around me on their app.
Got off the phone with Xfinity and they promised it would be here by 2:00 pm today. I told them it was 3:20 pm already. They said, oh 2:00 pm MT. 4:00 pm EST. They PROMISED it would be here by then. Pinky swear. 25 minutes to go. lol.
And true to their word-ish. 4:06 pm the new phone arrived!
Got 1 phone today and the label was just created for the 2nd phone that was ordered before the phone I got. Guess that one will be here Monday.
update: 256 natural pro max, estimated 9/22 delivery, just saw xm website updated shipping from “2days” to “fdx2d”, but still no tracking number yet, nor found in fedex advanced delivery. Hopefully it won’t be delayed too much given that clue.
I got impatient myself and it looks like they're still shipping out pre-orders.
I work a corporate day-job and this reeks of "we f-ed up/we want to pacify our customers so here's an excuse"
Theres no reason they can't send out order updates and theres no reason they can't schedule them with rules like "if phone not shipped by x send email" lol

After no changes all day mine JUST updated 512 black PM to FDX2D you'd think they'd still overnight them because it was a f- up on their end

I saw this for a few days before finally receiving shipping confirmation. For reference, 15 PM Natural, order confirmed at 8:10am. Still no phone in hand. Expecting delivery Monday. Thinking this might be the last time I go through Xfinity for preorders.
Ordered on launch day nice and early through Xfinity. I have basically been in contact with them every day. Yesterday was the listed delivery date, but yesterday the agent said I’ll get the phone in 24-48 hours. I didn’t enjoy the vagueness, so I asked “so you can’t give me tracking, it won’t be coming today as originally stated, and it’ll be here Saturday or Sunday?” And all they said was “yes.”
Well it’s Saturday, FedEx doesn’t deliver here on Sunday and my app shows no pending shipments. I went the Apple Store and picked up a 15 Pro to hold me over as I had a seller for my old phone.
