Finally my 3rd 12 Pro Max replacement unit today is uniform blue matches the same screen colour as my iPhone 11 Pro and Macbook air 2019......

First phone arrived with yellow screen true tone turned off with a dust under camera lens....

Second phone arrived with scratches on the side of the phone screen had a couple of dead pixels on the screen...

Third phone arrive everything perfect...

Apple Quality control is shocking
I quote this for those who are saying that yellowish is "normal" and is the expected by apple, like i saw perfect displays with no yellowish, THERE ARE PERFECT DISPLAYS, so stop lying yourself, dont let Apple play with your money and dont be that kind of apple zombies saying that "this worse display is the tend this year, if you dont like it just configure color filter" LOOOOOOOOL more than 1000€ phone...

You have no idea about this. I have spent the last 12+ months researching this issue. First do all your tests. You need to have a certain level of knowledge and expertise before you can argue a case.

We’re not stupid. We know it’s not normal.

Lol yellow tint is by design? So this year Apple took a perfectly loved display from the last 3 generations of iPhone and intentionally made it worse?

Tech isn't hardware????? Are you for real? Your telling me that a company that just created a SOC chip that runs better than an i7 at a fraction of the cost/size, that also created a night mode camera algorithm that can literally pull shadow detail out of a dark room using computational software, this company is unable to slightly adjust the color tint of a phone display???

Apple has built their entire ecosystem off the fact that they control hardware and software, I guarantee they can fix this if they want to.
Nail on the head- they won’t care enough to fix it.

I'm not so sure, the yellow tint has been an issue since Apple switched to LED (iPhone X). It's much more prevalent during the first weeks. I remember buying the iPhone X and was shocked by the yellow screen but then I was told it was normal for LED until I got a replacement unit (3D touch problem) with perfect whites.
There's a thread for this every single year, just google it.

We can only speculate but to me it's clear apple are cutting corners to increase yield.
The screens could be fixed by proper calibration which I hope they are doing with returned units at least.

Well said fully agree on what you said.
People telling us to use a colour filter for a £1199 256Gb max phone is outrageous...

I do not agree with people telling to get on with it and be happy with yellow green black whatever tint you got. The problem is for me personally there is no alternative to iphone out there lol. Id rather have yellow screen iPhone over any android device lol.

My 3rd replacement is coming next month. So fingers crossed.

So funny seeing everyone go through the exact same process every year -

maybe it’s intentional?
Maybe it’s software?
Maybe it’ll be fixed by apple?
I swear they are on it!
Wait maybe the phones are just like that this year
Wait...some people have perfect phones..hows that possible?
Ok seems like if you want it fixed you have to return the phone and buy another and try again.

yeah so that last one? That’s exactly what I said in the OP. A lot of people wasted a month to arrive at what I told you people day 1. But don’t worry, I didn’t expect anything less after 10 years.

This is normal. Each year iPhones get more and more yellow. And when new they’re even more yellow, the do become more white with use. I see no problem here. Nothing for Apple to fix.

Plus I guess we're just ignoring the fact that OLED panels have faster blue degradation, thus they would only get warmer over time.
If you look at the previous color-meter posts you’ll see that the green pixels are brighter than red and blue, thus they will wear out more quickly.

Should both phones not be at same level brightness to compare?

Yep exactly the same issue, if I use Siri to set brightness to 50% and compare the screen with auto-brightness on and off the screen is a lot brighter and less yellow with auto-brightness off which doesn't really make sense.
Just tired it with Siri too, and I get same results! How weird. Something isn’t right here

My PM12 is also a G0N from week 44 it is yellowish but not too much.

In which section of the program does the type of screen appear?

See following comparison

4 Pictures = 12PM <> iPhone X
2 Pictures = 12PM <> iPhone SE 2020 (LCD)
3 Pictures = 12PM alone

If one of you will give me again the tool to read out my display, then I will tell you also the panel number/code.
