What could possibly go wrong with automating a release for a day when everyone is off work?Lol as a software engineer I can tell you they definitely would never do this.

What was the turn around between the time you shipped it back until the time you received the the replacement? So I've now given up on the screen lottery ... my third 12P came today, serial F17DN41M0D92, and the screen is basically identical to the previous two I've had (1st - G6TDGAPK0D8X, 2nd - G6TDN0KB0D92). It's noticeably yellower than my iPhone X, iPad Pro, iPad 4 and iPhone 6S ... but I've just got used to it and accepted the difference now.
I spoke to them today about the issue, tho to me it doesnt bother me but others it does, but its better if i put in a word so this can get taken care of for not just me and many others , as of right now the apple rep told me that its most likely going to get fixed in update 14.3, tho i am not to familiar with the cause of these issues and how a software update can fix this yellow tint related stuff.Apples not stupid. They are not going to change the brightness or warmness as everybody would start swapping they’re iphones
Wait till after the extended holiday return period and then you’ll see an update or 12 ProMax with cooler screens
In any case call Apple tech support and let them know about the problem 1-800 my apple
I assure you that OLED are capable of exactly matching the colors of past lcds. Many have been posted on this thread. You all need to stop comparing to LCD screens. LCD screens will always look cooler and more blue.
They were delivered on the 23rd October, 12th November and 26th November. What was the turn around between the time you shipped it back until the time you received the the replacement?

Starting to think Apple got a super duper deal on these displays. They did and don’t waste your time calling Apple. They don’t care
Only on the initial stockpile that Samsung/LG couldn’t shift - the new, super duper stuff will be January onwards.Starting to think Apple got a super duper deal on these displays.

At first I thought it was the led lights but it happened anywhere and in any conditions, exterior or interior.Hahaha that seems lights conditions.
This issue is for tt offSomething weird happened which leads me to believe that there might be an acceptable fix via software. I was taking a Microsoft Teams meeting on my (yellow screen) iPhone 12 PM (having TT ON), when I accidentally cover the front camera module with my finger, so the screen went black as usually during a call, but when I removed it and the screen turned on again it was noticeable cooler with a very nice white.
I did the same a few times and sometimes it turned on way more yellow than usually and sometimes more blue. On the cooler moments I compared it to my XS Max and it was very close, still a slightly warmer, but not as different as on my previous comparisons. So I suspect that True Tone and the screen calibration can be fixed to offer an overall better experience.
This issue is for tt off
Are you returning for a different model or just one way return. What’s the planI know, but what I mean is that the screen is physically able to offer a better appearance. I’m not saying that it solves the problem in any way, but maybe some software update will reduce the problem. I’m still returning my phone before the return window expires, but there may be hope for those who can’t return for any reason.
I returned two Pro before getting my current Pro Max, all of them with the same issue, so I’ll just return it and buy a new one if most people here report getting good units by then. Are you returning for a different model or just one way return. What’s the plan
Yes this is exactly my issue. Could you turn off auto brightness on both and post another photo please? It’s it still as noticeable?iPhone 12 pro the colours are washed out and don’t pop, screen is alright not much yellow. anyone else have this problem? Even the iPhone 7 screen has better colour contrast and pops out.
Both have full brightness and true tone off. As you can see the first one is less yellow but the screen looks washed out compared to the 2nd one. Not sure what to do.... See photosView attachment 1680406View attachment 1680413
