My release day pro max is bad and I’m definitely sending it back. I’m seeing I could order right now and have it delivered tomorrow. Do you guys think it’s still a big risk it’ll be the same? Really don’t want to go through this again.

Why not try another brand? Rumors suggest Samsung has good displays. It won't hurt Apple. The iPhone 12 Pro and PM are flying off the shelves.....

for me the one on the right must be just a little more yellow due to the pink tint of your photo.

But i have to admit it's very close.
th iphone 12 on the photo seems to have very good white in comparison with ours.
did you check the serial number ?

first time I see an iphone 11 or XR so close to an iphone 12 concerning the white of the screen.

Decided to buy a 12 Mini again because I love the form factor. Serial starts with C7CDM. Looks great to me.

Because that's what TT does. In more yellow light it should turn more blue, to counteract the warmer colour around you. The opposite should happen when you're around blue or colder light.

Not really. TT gets colder in cold environments and warmer in warm environments.

I agree, but so far the only pros I see are: Deep blacks. Infinite contrast. The cons: Color shift, PWM flickering, burn in/image retention, shorter lifespan, yellower screens, greater power consumption Would you say the cons outweigh the pros? I think its an absolute blowout for the cons.

Finally received my 2nd iPhone 12 Pro Max. Of course, knowing that the yellow screen issue would still be there my plan was to send this one back too and just keep keep my 11 Pro Max for another year. I was even dreaming about where I would spend all that saved money. But .. Surprise .. This iPhone 12 Pro Max doesn't have that yellow screen. It's a keeper. I'll be darned.

Anyhow, I felt the responsible thing to do, considering all the complaining I did earlier on, would be to get back to y'all with some kind of update. Well .. Here it is.

No raised blacks .. No greenish grays.

Actually, I have a confession to make. I have no idea what a raised black is. But the blacks are a deep black and I can't find any hint of greenishness in the grays.
