There are some posts from beta testers.

Yes guys I know. I’ll swap a couple of time again and I’ll give up. Bummer. I hate android and love the overall built quality, but the screen quality is ridiculous for 1.4K €.
Is there an email address where we can write to be heard? Please do not provide Tim Cook’s one
Today I got IP 12 pro - it also has a yellow screen - update to 14.3 beta - did not change anythingIn a couple of hours the 14.3 will be released... let’s see, honestly I have no hope at all
Yeah I wouldn't get my hopes up..from a software side, I doubt Apple will just release some type of update the alters the colors of the screen since there are so many variances and they would need to target only certain ones, I think it's too risky or might not even be possible.
The only thing we can hope for is for Apple to include a setting that allows users to adjust the white point from cold to warm like on Android devices.
But I hope i'm wrong and there is an update soon. Just keep in mind, they have never addressed this issue in the past.
Not yet, but I'll be attempting this on Friday in the UKHas anyone had any luck requesting a specific serial number? I’m thinking my best shot at doing this would be if I buy it in store through my carrier ?

Its a gamble. I think one thing we've learned from this forum is that its not tied to serial numbers, and from all the colorimeter data we've seen it appears even the "white" iPhone screens have lower blue levels than previous years screens.what serial number should we be looking for? haven't all series been affected?
As predicted, the 14.3 does not change anything at all. The greens at the boot, yellow True Tone, flickering in the YouTube full video... all the same sh@t as before.
shame on the Apple Employees that say “just be patient for some days, an update is incoming and all will be ok.
shame on you. Thanks to God I’m the return window. Bye bye.
Hilarious.Holy Hell! 14.3 actually fixes my green/yellow tint and raised blacks...
...not.
It's not worth it, just return or keep exchanging. Don't count on any software updating changing this.
I saw someone mention that all G6 serial number iPhones are good, but that’s not accurate, as mine with G6TDK is bad. Looking at people reporting back, G6TDQ may be a good batch.
What you guys think. Keep playing the lotterie and hope to get at some point a good one or just get the iPhone 11 Pro? Price difference is about 200€ from the 12 mini to the Pro.
Yeah, went for the 11 pro now. I can't handle the back and forth replacing iPhones. I just wanna buy once and be happy with it.I bought an 11PM but continue accepting 12PM replacements. Even the customer care recommends replacement, if I’m not happy.
Be careful, the 11 Pros had also screen problems. I hope it will meet your expectations, if you decide to buy it.
These photos represent exactly what I’m experiencing. This gradual colour shift in the greys from bottom to top, with green tinting.Something for you all to try as I have yet to see an iPhone 12 pro max that does not exhibit this behaviour in some way...

I noticed the shift from green tint to pink/red hue from top to bottom on the pro max display as being similar to the two pro Max’s I have tried. These displays seem to exhibit these sorts of issues (tints, hues, raised blacks instead of pure blacks) when on low brightness levels (lowest setting) Similarly, when on the lowest setting I get the raised blacks issue and have yet to see an iPhone 12 that doesn’t. I believe the raised blacks can be fixed in software but I’m not so sure about the tints.
furthermore, I checked a few more 12PM’s and they all seem to exhibit a similar pattern, with a portion of the screen looking more red/pink (not necessarily the bottom though). The issue is less pronounced when you increase the brightness.
I used a grey image below to check on mine:

Here is a pic of my 12PM display with that image (night shift on, TT on and auto brightness in pitch black room)

Compared to my 11PM for reference:

back to the 12PM, you can also see it on YouTube and other similar Grey backgrounds when on the lowest brightness...

even the iPhone 11 Pro Max display i used for comparison isn’t perfect; and I think perhaps this year the software or calibration is particularly bad but nevertheless these sorts of issues seem to be unavoidable at minimum brightness levels.
if anyone has a 12PM that doesn’t have any of these issues on lowest brightness then let me know:
- green/pink/red hue
- pure black doesn’t turn off pixels (check the raised blacks thread for a test)
