So does mine when it wants to be.
Compared to a 11 and 12 pro max, both look brighter and better than mine.
I’ve sent my pictures off to apple 😁 said to call them back tomorrow, this should be fun. 🤦♂️😂 what’s the bet they’ll say it’s perfectly normal. 😂
Perfectly normal and never heard of this problem before are a common line Samsung use. Did Apple copy them again? 😂
They’ll ignore that as an issue. Since for starters you’re not comparing like for like.
If they offer to send out a new phone, I’m going to tell them to shove it,
I want to go to my local apple store when refurbs are available and pick out one that is brighter than mine. 😁
not in the mood to play the screen lottery game a 100 times, if they say no, I’m keeping this phone till apple gets rid of Samsung or switches to micro led.
That’ll be challenging under the Apple store lighting conditions. Perhaps you could ask if they have a dark cupboard you could borrow for a few minutes ?😂

The least you could is show those photos with a light meter to measure nits output. Pretend to be scientific at least 🤣 like those YouTube frauds.
I don’t believe one word that comes out of them FakeTubers mouths, not going to go back and forward with apple tomorrow, if they don’t offer me a refurb from my local store, I’ll keep my current phone.
Worse case scenario, I’ll smash the screen and get it replaced under apple care + 😁😂

I can live with this screen, but knowing there is brighter screens out there, is making my OCD kick in. 🤦♂️😂
Yep, set brightness on both with Siri, True Tone off, night shift off, auto brightness off.
The screens on the older models were brighter at every level.
Should be interesting to see what apple say about the photos I sent them, not holding my breath on getting a reasonable outcome, to them it’ll be a case of nothing is wrong with it, I’m looking at it wrong. 😂
Maybe it has something to do with your phone transfer install? Have you considered wiping it and setting it up as a new phone in case you brought some niggly settings with you?
Ie maybe it has taken on the brightness settings of your 11 or 12, which doesn’t hold a candle to the 1000 knit settings?
Already done that, my battery percentage got stuck and wouldn’t go down 🤦♂️😂
it‘s typical OLED tech behaviour, luck of the draw with the panel you end up with, seen some online that are definitely brighter than the older models.
I’ll keep you updated on what happens tomorrow with apple.
Not possible, it’s the screens they are using this year, some are brighter than others.
