they don’t have another option. ? I agree.
Not yet, rumors going around awhile ago that they’re developing their own screens in some secret factories in Taiwan.

They’ll be getting rid of qualcomm soon once their modems are ready, hopefully won’t be much longer until Samsung gets the flick as well. 😁

Hopefully theyll recruit some of us to do the QC and testing on these panels before they are mass produced. Then again, maybe not 🤣
They don’t want me there, people won’t get their phones for 6 month if I’m in charge of OC. 😂

this crap would not happen under Steve Jobs watch
I do think that people have a very romantic view of what Steve Jibs would have done and not done. Under Steve Jobs there was a iPhone 4 antenna situation that had almost everyone in a frenzy. Mobile Me was not a crowing success under his watch either. Don't get me wrong, I think Steve Jobs was brilliant but he had his share of failures and successes.

He’d probably address it and say “stop whinging “. 🤣

I agree. While Steve Jobs undoubtedly runs a tighter ship, every product wasn't perfectly executed under his watch.

No more yellow tinted displays for me! Had two different iPhone 12 Mini’s and both had a very yellow display.. Recently purchased an iPhone 13 Pro Max and it’s definitely a lot less yellow.

Can somebody help me out? This is already my replacement, the first one was way too yellow, is this a keeper? It is in light mode, maximum brightness, true color and night shift off, although changing to dark mode does not make any difference. The display actually looks more yellow than in the photo.

Background for comparison is Macbook pro 2017, photo taken with ipad 2018 (worst ipad I've ever had).

Yep it's too yellow send it back. How bizzare. 🤣 You want us to judge the color / tint of your iphone with that setup against your MacBook taken with an iPad ? Double LOL 🤣🤣

Sorry I have not read all the posts so not fully getting you point. Is this set up for demonstration not good? I can also compare it with my old iPhone 6, but just found that model way too old, not sure if it would be a good set up either.

And regarding that iPad, whatever I do with it, the other apps just constantly shut themselves up in the background, have tried upgrading systems, resetting it, nothing works. My iPad air 2 even does a better job than this newer one.

Firstly you need to compare it with another device that uses the same display technology., Ideally another iphone 13. Secondly read the photos and look at the writings on this thread. 😂

Thanks, unfortunately I was among the ones who just cannot live without touch ID, so don't have another OLED display next to me. I read a few pages of the thread (but definitely not all over 300 pages), but still could not get a clue if mine is good or not. The display looks uniformed though (also in a dark room), just when I put it together with my other devices, there is a noticeable yellow tint.

I did some research and it seems like a lottery to get a good quality iPhone these days, and I am just super afraid after a few draws, I end up with a even worse one...
