Thanks, unfortunately I was among the ones who just cannot live without touch ID, so don't have another OLED display next to me. I read a few pages of the thread (but definitely not all over 300 pages), but still could not get a clue if mine is good or not. The display looks uniformed though (also in a dark room), just when I put it together with my other devices, there is a noticeable yellow tint.

I did some research and it seems like a lottery to get a good quality iPhone these days, and I am just super afraid after a few draws, I end up with a even worse one...
Most iphones after 11 series became yellower, so it's normal.

Yes I went to apple store today, and mine was very slightly yellower and dimmer than the ones on display. But the staff explained to me that the ones on display are supposed to be different from the ones they sell, as they are adjusted to allow them to survive presenting mode day and night. So I guess I'd just take it as it is.

(Also have to mention that all their phones on display have displays of different color temperatures)

Thanks mate for looking for me!

I used to enjoy using truetone until the iPhone 12 PM and now the iPhone 13 PM. Now I find myself utilizing the color filter menu in conjunction with enabling truetone to create myself a happy medium display wise.

After many tries and adjusting color filters and switching on and off true tone etc.,I've did a hard reset and amazingly yelow tint disappeared.

This yelow screen drove me crazy for a while now. And yes, today just to try something different I've did a hard reset wich means:volume up,then volume down and after power button. After restart the screen was perfect. No more yelow screen. I'm thrilled and more then happy since I was about to sell the phone because of this. I have 12 pro max..

I have a new iPhone 13 with quite a yellowish screen. I don't like that
After much insistence, they are prepared to replace the screen. But apparently I can't see, from the replacement stock, which screens have a cool (white) or yellowish appearance. Do any of you know which supplier provides a cool (white) screen. According to what I have already read, the screens are from LG, samsung, ... (translation by Google translate?)

There is no correlation for supplier to quality. It has to do more with where the screen is cut from the sheet, the middle or end. And using the display serial number as an indication of display quality won’t really work either.

For example, my launch day 13 Pro Max has a G9P display. My panel seems to be an outliner from those who have had a G9P panel on their iPhone 13 models. My panel is pretty much uniform and has no glaring tint issues to it. With True Tone turned off, my iPhone display tends toward the cooler (bluer) side. So I would not call it a warm panel by any means. Pretty much the elusive "unicorn" panel.

Old thread subscriber with a new iPhone 13 Pro reporting in..I think the previous comment is accurate, the yellow/green cast is real..
My old iPhone X has the best screen ever it almost matches my calibrated monitor in colors. The 12 Pro and the 13 Pro are both a disappointment in that matter, they lack red and blue.

But I'm happy to report that my 13 Pro is uniform and with true tone and auto brightness on, it is much much better than my 12Pro. I think that one had a bad sensor tbh. It was waaayy too dim and yellow with TT & AB on.

I can’t speak from experience but it appears the smaller 6.1 panels are much more uniform and less troublesome.

Or less chance of the bonding of glass being uneven.
Confirm iPhone 13 mini's also are quite uniformed from my experience, even smaller screens.

And fun fact: my replacement came in different packaging (with plastic tapes instead of paper ones), apparently if one reports an issue, sometimes they do an extra check to make sure the issue does not occur again with the replacement. And the serial number of the replacement starts with Q instead of M (Not sure how it works for yellow tint problem though...)

Serial numbers are all randomized, including replacement units.
