That's what I was afraid of...
Same thing happened to me when I was dealing with Apple Sales. They confirmed that they understood what I need and that they will order a space gray keyboard... but still they sent me a white one.

My advise:
1) return these products for a refund
2) start from scratch by going to chat as advised in this thread and do not let yourself to be transferred anywhere else. Also, read through this thread again and get the part numbers for the space gray products you need. If you will mention these part numbers to the Apple representatives in chat - it will help them to order the right items for you.

One thing that I find strange though, is that you paid through the link that they provided to you - this is what happens when your order a replacement part (same process for ordering the space gray accessories), so I had hopes it would work out for you... sorry to see it did not.

The ordering process has yet to complete. The next step after they receive the white KB and MM2 will be that it triggers Apple to then send the Space Gray KB and MM2 to me. This is how the "Service Transaction" works. So stay tuned as I sense all will be well in a weeks time.

I was able to order two sets of all space gray accessories via Chat. Neither rep questioned me and all of my repair confirmations say Space Gray in the description.

The only strange thing is the first rep was able to order all 3 parts in one repair while the second rep said she has to split it up into 3 repairs.

Do any of you guys try to see if you could return the Magic Mouse within the return time window and get the Trackpad for $50 (price if you replace the Magic Mouse) ?

Anyone willing to help me out and get a Space Gray Keyboard and a Space Gray Trackpad ordered? I'll pay for your time and effort.

Today my credit card mysteriously got charged at 2AM for ~USD40 from "Apple.com"... I realised that it is the non-return fee for the 'replacement' space grey accessories :p

The only effort really needed is to read through this thread... :)

I called up Apple and it took 10 minutes to get a repair-part space grey trackpad. $149.00 + WA state taxes delivered.

I imagine it is quite a bit harder if you do not have an iMac Pro registered to your appleID.

Has anyone been successful at ordering a space gray international keyboard. I am wanting to replace my US one with a traditional Chinese one. I have verified that they sell the iMac Pro in Taiwan with the Taiwan language style keyboard (which is the country of the keyboard I want).

Thanks!

I have ordered a space gray keyboard with Russian layout.

Can you share with me what you had to do to order it? I tried going through AppleCare chat yesterday and they just kicked me out to sales after spending 10 minutes.

sure, I just followed OP's instructions

From what I understood, the key is not to allow yourself to be transferred anywhere outside the chat (e.g. to Apple Care or to Sales). Whenever I was transferred to somewhere else, it all ended with no desired result. Some people were just telling me it's not possible, others ordered me a white keyboard...

I'm really excited about this but really bummed they don't have black lightning cables. I'm using mine to connect to a the iPhone dock but it would be nice to have a few. Not complaining though good job apple getting these out they are great and I'll definitely pick up a mouse for the MBP.

The accessories should come with the black charging cable. They all list a cable as part of the package, expect it will be the proper color.

Oh I see what you mean I was talking more about selling the black lightning cables separately but you are right they would probably include them with the accessories. I was thinking of picking up a mouse for my MBP but I use the trackpad a lot so it isn't a high priority for me. I've been eyeballing it but so far I'm holding off.

I just got my space grey trackpad 2 and it did come with the black USB to Lightning charging cable.

Yes, my Space Grey Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2 both came with the black USB-to-Lightning charging cables, and those cables now look so sweet plugged into the black docks I use for my iPhone! I wish Apple would make the black cables available for separate purchase, too -- I would snap up a few more in a heartbeat.

In the meantime, I am loving the beautiful keyboard and mouse, which look really great on my desk and very nicely complement my computer with its black keys and the Space Grey iPads and iPhone which are standing around on the desk as well. I am just thrilled that Apple has finally made them available to all customers now, and especially that the keyboard is the version that includes the numbers pad, which is important to me. I am more than delighted!

Haven't bought the trackpad yet, not sure if I will, as I really didn't use my white Magic Trackpad all that much. I am much more of a mouse user than a trackpad user, but that trackpad does come in handy every now and then..... Probably the Space Grey one will eventually find its way to my household but more than likely not for another month or so, after my bank account has had a chance to recover from this month's recent expenditures!

You can get black lightning cables just about anywhere including amazon brand cables.

I really prefer to use Apple's own cables rather than third-party; I've read about too many failures and problems with other brands.

Looks great, even with the classic silver mac. My keyboard and trackpad should arrive tomorrow, so it looks like they will go with the 2017 iMac.

I'm still wavering about the trackpad. I have the white one and found that I really don't use it all that much, I tend to use the mouse much more, so I'm thinking that buying a black/space grey trackpad just to match the mouse and the keyboard might be a bit much, but am still thinking about it anyway......

Yes, I think the black keyboard and trackpad will look really nice with the 2017 iMac, too! My MBP is the 2015 15" one, and I am thinking that in another year or so it will be time to replace her.....
