Thanks very much. I actually meant the screen once you select a device, such as a cell phone, to browse, but I really appreciate you responding. Are you using a skin of some sort? The stoplight buttons and fonts look slightly different to me than Lion, but I could be wrong.

This?

iCAL now shows the CURRENT DATE, not some premade date

LOOK. this is slightly helpful but seems more constant with the apple fit and finish that lion sort of lacked...

BTW its july 3rd here in Japan

Currently running on Lion and yes, it is showing the current date.

Currently running Snow Leopard and it had the current date, and even Leopard before that. I'm sure the others did too, but that is before I started using Mac. (Or even knew what that number meant)

lol it seems like my ical was bugged or something.. maybe some extension. i clean installed ML

SORRY :(

Slightly off-topic. But does iPhoto include updated share sheets? I know with iPhoto 9 (?) you can share to facebook, but does ML bring Twitter to the list too, or will a separate update for iPhoto be required?

This will require an update to iPhoto; it's not there yet.

You can launch Notification Center via a circle with a black dot inside of it, in the menu bar on the far right corner.

No, that's the spotlight icon. The Notification Center icon is right next to it, it's three horizontal lines, looking like a todo-list or something.

It just to be a circle with a dot in it when that user posted, Apple changed it to the horizontal lines with DP4.

any1 playing Diablo on the latest ML?

is it laggy or normal like if its on Lion?? or is it better?

would like to install ML DP4, but I read on a thread that Diablo doesnt work good on ML.

cheers

I've noticed a huge performance improvement in my network speed going from Lion to Mountain Lion.

I have a the powerline nano 500 set from Netgear (XAVB5101) and I was doing 15mb/s while on Lion. It was consistently that speed.
Now on Mountain Lion it's consistenly 27 mb/s. Not sure why this speed bump but it's great.

It only shows the current date if its on the dock, or in launchpad. If you go to your applications folder it says 17th.

Hey I've been looking in some screenshots of Mountain Lion DP4. Is it me or has the text changed in OS X menus. Kinda like the text in the latest iPhoto update.

Little things I noticed were gone:
  • You can't invert the screen anymore by pressing cmd+option+ctrl+8 (there is an option in a redesigned Accessibility window, though):
    20hkakn.png
  • Activity Window is gone from Safari.
