Not so for me. It all works the way it did in Lion.
It didn't work that way for me in ML until I went into the dock preferences and unchecked the "Minimize window into application icon" box.

So if you remove iTunes from the dock, then open it, you won't have an iTunes logo in the dock? That sounds like a bug, have you tried rebooting your system?

After doing some research, it appears this is not equivalent to the Activity window. It's equivalent to the Web Inspector. It doesn't appear to show sizes of elements or download progress, so it can't be used to download videos.Go to the advanced tab in Safari prefs and enable the develop menu, then in the develop menu that is now available click Show page resources.
Also, I've activated the speech commands in Accessibility and downloaded the "Samantha" voice, which is like Siri on the iPhone 4S. It's a little buggy (or I am in learning how to use it), but one of the commands is "Tell me a joke". Sam said "knock knock", I said "Who's there" and she said "Digital". The humor escapes me, but it was cool anyway.
Acess some shared services available on your iMac ( for example: SSH,AFP,VNC(Apple Remote desktop) etc...) . Depends on your "sharing" settings
Grab has been there since Tiger.Has anyone noticed an app called "Grab" in the Utilities folder? It enables a variety of screen shots. Never noticed it before ... unless it's new to ML.
Ok, thanks. But sometimes when i use the Finder on my MBA the iMac is not showing under 'shared' in the left pane. It should be always there right?
Well, I've used ML DP 2 and 3, and now retail from App Store. It has always, and still does, put an icon in the dock that goes away when the app closes. Just the way it has worked in earlier versions. Not really, I thought this is how they revamp Dock. See, if O don't have iTunes in your dock at the first place, then I will open it using a finder / spotlight / click a song or something, and iTunes will open. In the SL / Lion, the dock will generate a temporary iTunes icon that only goes away if you close iTunes (or quit).
I figure out in ML, it didn't create that "temporary" icon in the dock, instead when you minimise iTunes it will create a "snapshot" icon in the right side of the dock. When you quit the iTunes then the "snapshot" icon will disappear.
Actually quite a good one because previously in SL / Lion, the dock will create a "temporary" icon PLUS the "snapshot" icon if you minimise it (if you set the preference not to "minimise the application as dock icon"
For everybody that doesn't have the Faces option in photo picker, Contacts and Users & Groups, I found a solution over at the Apple forum. In ~/Library check to see if you have an Images folder. Should be ~/Library/Images. If not just create it, thats it. I hope this helps.
Short question: Should the Notification Center icon be highlighted or somehow changed when there are new notifications? Mine stays always the same, i can never tell if there are new notifications...some weeks ago i saw a screenshot of one of the DPs where the icon was highlighted!?

As I said, I think it's only your system. Have you tried rebooting?
You're the only one I've heard mention this...
