New drop down options when clicking install:

confirming - it is in lower case on my install.

which is nice... lower case is generally more readable.

I think its a new thing, and is country dependent. USA seems to have stuck with caps.

In System Preferences > Dictation and Speech have option to download file to work offline. Is this new in Maverick ?

Is scrolling PDF documents in Preview app as smooth as scrolling in Safari (60fps)?

Currently, in Mountain Lion, its not so smooth in Preview. Scrolling PDFs only in Safari results in smooth scrolling.

For those using multiple displays... in my case the screen on my MBP and a cinema display... how do you "call" the dock from one screen to another? When I move the cursor between screens the dock seems to randomly switch. I thought maybe it was tied to a hot corner or something.

iCloud Sync Tags

I installed Mavericks on a second machine after playing a little bit with Finder Tags. My tags from the first machine's appeared on the new machine (and I did not transfer any files over).

The files themselves are not synced, just the tags.

The same way you have been able to summon the dock in a full-screen app.

Ha, cool.

Hopefully file sync will come. Not that Dropbox isn't great, but it would be nice to have a solution within OSX.

I'd like to see a more-accessible iCloud folder, acting just like Dropbox or the deceased iDisk. I've read elsewhere that is effectively coming.

I do it by dragging something to the bottom of the screen, after which the dock pops up.

Move cursor to the bottom of the screen and swipe down on the trackpad.

On a mouse, I'm assuming you move the cursor to the bottom, stop, and then move the mouse down again.

When you put an app in full screen mode, does it still become the rightmost space? I hate how I can have Safari in Space 1 and Skype in Space 2, and I'm used to swiping between the two, but when I switch Safari to full screen mode, it travels 6 spaces right and it takes 6 more swipes to get back to Skype, in the opposite direction, which is just confusing and doesn't make sense.

I think now you can change the order of all spaces including full screen apps and dashboard.

You know what would be nice????
Tighter Notification center syncing between iPhone/iPad/Mac.

What give me the ability to see who is calling me on my Mac.
Hell give me a "click-to-call" ability from Addressbook and I will be happy.

That might still be possible, probably next year's OS X update. They're improving the notification center each year.

Make sure you send in your suggestions here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html

Has anyone tested restoring Time Machine backups on Mavericks?

Plus, is it possible to restore a ML Time Machine backup to Mavericks?

Thanks
