Use the Windows 10 Media creation tool to create a USB installer of Windows 10. Do not use Rufus, do not use a DVD. The installer loads just fine for me over USB
Thank you so much! And another one question. How can I install 2 or 3 MacOS? After that it stop see Bootcamp (earlier I tried). maybe now, when I‘ll install from usb, it will see.

Either Have a large SSD 512GB or 1TB and partition it in disk Utility before any installs. Or you can create APFS Dynamic volumes (Personally I don't like Volumes) You can also Swap your Optical Drive for an SSD or buy a 2nd HDD cable for your iMac.

Here is my iMac "The Mule" it has 3 SSD's from OS Sierra all the way to Catalina. I'm using the K4100M iMac with Big (pain in the ass) Sur.

To clarify what I was seeing:
-The new version did not work on my set up. Although I could option boot to either Catalina directly or the Catalina loader with the display working, the display output did not work in either. The no displayport output was the real issue
-The old AGC.zip files do work correctly by booting to Catalina loader (no black screen and has brightness control) without user input and has display output functioning

On the Lilu, WhateverGreen - I understand that they are not your kexts and you cannot keep updating your files to match their changes. What I was trying to bring up was the inconsistency that the post outlining the Catalina Loader 0.6.0 install (#8,669) says that Lilu and WhateverGreen are preconfigured and all you need to do is rename the correct plist. The PDF attached to the post says that you need to replace Lilu and WhateverGreen with the most recent and rename the plist. These are conflicting directions and it kind of seemed like the replace the kexts was left from previous versions of the PDF and could be outdated info (assuming the post was written fresh and the PDF was just edited from previous versions).

The edit you made to the Catalina Loader 0.6.0 post helps to clear this up and let us know that we do need to be looking to use the most recent version of those kexts.

Thank you for all your work on these!
Ah, thanks for having your iMac in your Signature, it seems to only be targeting the 21.5" models, interesting. Yes you should replace WEG/Lilu in OpenCore and not install them to S*/L*/E. The reason for all this confusion is some Macs just don't need OpenCore anymore, but others do. However all iMacs really should have WEG/Lilu on them to bring back HD3000 GPU support/tweaks.

I reverted the post back to have the original AGC kexts, unless you want/need a Board-ix modded kext users can download the AMD folder.

Sorry, I cannot see an inconsistency. The doc (not having a time stamp) says check for the recent versions (in general), the post (which has a fixed time stamp) says the recent versions have been installed (in particular) on the attached Catalina Loader. If you want to misunderstand things you will find a lot of in my post, I am sure.

At some point they (service center/poster) will also need to Disable the HD3000 GPU in safe mode as well, hope either party is capable of doing this. You'll end up in an endless BSOD if you don't, these iMacs were never designed for EFI copies of windows 10... Also plan on using an external DAC in windows 10, unless you want to disable driver signing and follow a moderately difficult DSDT patching guide...

In the past I had successfully installed Win10 on 27" iMac 2009 with Radeon GPU, but I was booting it with rEFInd an not used BootCamp at all - just the drivers from it. The disk was formatted as regular GPT without APFS.

Alright, I am not trying to argue with you or personally attack anyone. I am trying provide feedback on something that I found confusing because others may as well - increasing clarity could lead to fewer questions/issues (or not? maybe having the most updated versions of those kexts isn't going to make/break an installation - I don't know that answer, hence the feedback provided to you who has a better understanding of the topic). I have found that when I am closely involved in something I can take certain aspects to be obvious whereas newcomers may see it a bit differently.

For me, this caused an issue during troubleshooting. I could not tell if I was supposed to update to the newest version of these kexts (impression from PDF) or if the Catalina Loader was supposed to function as a predefined system where any changes could break it (impression from post/first page which always referred to as the golden standard so I followed those directions). My system wasn't working correctly, and since I had recorded every step I took I went back to double check to verify I did everything correctly. The issue is for this step I did not know if I did it correctly as there were two different methods listed - one said only rename plist (Also, "There is no more need for a manual configuration. You just need to rename a file." from first page) while the other said replace kext and rename plist - the only way I could tell which was the correct one was by asking. It turned out the issue was unrelated to this step, but it kept me from narrowing it down further to either find the issue myself of provide a more accurate state of install my to find a fix for it.

An example of what I am meaning as a simple, consistent message is below as a clarifier in the 0.6.0 guide post and first page:

Latest version of OpenCore and latest version of the Lilu (version x.x.x) and Whatevergreen (version x.x.x) extensions already configured (current as of 8/12 - please check for and replace with the newest versions [see attached PDF]). We have for each card type a special preconfigured config. Just pick yours from the list below and rename it to config.plist

There is no more need for a manual configuration. You just need to rename a file and copy over the most recent Lilu/WhateverGreen kexts.

Again this is just feedback on the process as I experienced it - do with it what you wish. If you do not care or think it is helpful then ignore it - no big deal.
Well, well,
We should calm down here, i think. We are a community.
We share what we found, and nothing is carved on stone. If someone has a good idea we take it. All people are invited to participate, propose, report, criticize, correct, share. Everybody should consider that we have to work together, all together, and have to be nice with other people.
This thread should stay easy to read for everybody, i mean that we can use PM to discuss problematic plots before make them public for instance.
We should too respect all the work done by others.
I really do not like to speak like that, it hurts me, but it's done. :)

Dear friends, I'm facing an issue trying to upgrade my iMac's GPU.
I really don't know how but one of capacitor of my GPU card is gone...desoldered.
Can anyone tell me what is this capacitor?
The GPU is a GTX 765M.
I'd really appreciate you help.

I have K4100M on my way and should arrive any day. Grizzly already here, K5 still on the way.
No idea if it's coincidence but yesterday the 6970m gave it's last breath.
Dismanteling will begin today and start dremeling the heatsink.

Still need to read up a bit more on the software / os adjustments / necessary kexts.
Already saying thank you for making this all possible.

hard to say with SMD Capacitor.
maybe you can finde a data sheet.
but if you finde the SMD capacitor, you also need a stady hand to solder it on.

It's indeed well listed. I'm someone who needs to read something 3 to 4 times times and still while doing that I'm distracted & searching for other stuff. 😂

I'm running High Sierra latest update.
The card K4100M which is on the way is readly flashed.
After the HW install If understood right I just need to install two kexts: AppleGraphicControl & Backlight?
When upgrading to Mojave the SandyBridge kext needs to be applied too.

I'm reading the thread since a week or two & while also searching for an adequate card.
I know you guys prefer that everyone looks up evertyhing by himself and I really did.
The kext stuff mentioned above is what has been found during the search.
Can someone please confim these are the right ones? If ok = great, if not ok the search will continue. 😛

I did like this
- flashed the k5100M using the @xanderon method ie usb and ssh
- power off the iMac
- install a blank SSD
- plug catalina usb key
- power on and reset pram > cmd + alt + P + R
- after the reboot > alt
- select the catalaina installer

installation finished, add ktexts AppleGraphicControl & Backlight thx @highvoltage12v

reboot, enjoy :)

Judging by recent feedback, they may only be selling a link to this thread not an actual file.

Don't know which is worse... also can't imagine a person who knows what a vbios is and is ready to tear the Mac apart to upgrade the GPU, but thinks its normal to pay for said vbios and can't find this thread themselves 🤔

People have no courtesy in others work and time.

Not cool. Not at all. Hope the buyers know that more or less

Does anyone know why k3000m working status changed? Just got it but did not have a chance to try vbios native boot and native brightness control.

All ways freezing. One way I can install windows without errors and freezing is usb flash, but windows working one minute and black screen and no working more. I tried all ways and now don’t know what to do. Bootcamp - white display
Disc - freezing
Usb flash media creation tool - one minute of working and black screen (sometimes errors of installation and no goes far)
Screen is one of that place where freezing

If you look on the first page, that is normal for the WX4150.
