Apple prioritizes US deliveries- I'm guessing economies of scale. I orderd mine for Dubai 5 minutes after it launced and in a somewhat similar situation as you except my card has been charged.

I ordered mine a few mins after launch but still have May 24-28 estimated with status of processing. Green 1Tb/16Gb model.
 
Still waiting to see it get out of the processing phase, but thats awesome people on here have theres shipped already!! My est. is May 24-June 1 still. Im so impatient but so excited for my first ever iMac lol. Hopefully ill see a preparing of shipment this week!!!

Which config did you get? Wondering if anyone got the 8gb ram.

For those keeping score, my order just went to "shipped" although the UPS tracking clearly says the package has not yet been received by UPS in China.

I ordered about 5 minutes after orders opened up (because in a twist of events, the iOS App did not allow orders as soon as the web for once).

I ordered the Silver (would've gone with a color if they had the back color on the front, wasn't super fond of any of their pastel tone choices sadly), 8 core GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, touchpad, and normal sized touch id keyboard. Oh, and it's the VESA mount version.

It's expected to arrive May 25th here in the US.

And as of earlier today UPS has the item and the delivery date was updated to Friday May 21. 🎉

I think my computer just fully teleported. Went from Shanghai to Kentucky… and is now back in Shanghai. Magic!

There was only one Fedex flight that left Shanghai at 11:20am (the time my tracking changed to in transit) and it was labelled as a "positioning flight." Then it landed in Japan and left there at 3:37am, also the same time as the next check in time on my tracking. The timestamps lined up exactly. You can see the flight history in the Activity Log section of the flight page I linked to.
