2021 iMac order thread

Blue iMac, 16GB, 1TB. Ordered within 15 mins or less of preorder, had a delivery date of May 24-June 1. I hope it comes before that lol. Orders were down yesterday and I checked today still processing. Hopefully it'll prepare to ship soon!!
Yep, usually Czech Rep, sometimes The Netherlands.
My airtags came from Czech Republic hub through Germany to Hungary ?
I think there is a manufacturing facility in Cork, Ireland for over here in the UK. I could be wrong with that as it might not be the Macs that get assembled there
After a flurry of activity showing weird updates (iMac in Korea, now China again, then in Japan, back to Korea, then departed Anchorage), it has arrived in Louisville for delivery to Virginia. Annoying that I COULD have it tomorrow, but have to wait 5 more days.
Honestly, it is annoying. I hope we are able to get it before the 21st (Apple did say "second half of May"...).
Tomorrow or Tuesday it must switch to preparing To ship. Let’s hope that it’s tomorrow, I don’t want to wait any longer ??
So true! I looking every hour 2-3 times in the Apple store app ??? I hate waiting and to see that all others see changing, but my stucked ?
Burbank is next then trucked to local LA facility. Probably will sit there until the morning of the 21st. I have never been lucky enough ? to get early delivery.
Have you considered holding off for a new silicon MacBook? It's anticipated that a MacBook Pro with a second-generation M1 will be announced very soon.
For those keeping score, my order just went to "shipped" although the UPS tracking clearly says the package has not yet been received by UPS in China.
I ordered about 5 minutes after orders opened up (because in a twist of events, the iOS App did not allow orders as soon as the web for once).
I ordered the Silver (would've gone with a color if they had the back color on the front, wasn't super fond of any of their pastel tone choices sadly), 8 core GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, touchpad, and normal sized touch id keyboard. Oh, and it's the VESA mount version.
It's expected to arrive May 25th here in the US.

Looks like Europe will get the orders a couple of days later than the US.
My order was placed 6 mins after opening (b/c of some store error with cart), and the estimated delivery is 26-31 May ? card charged, status still processing, drives me crazy.

Chill, you will see, everything went right. When Apple send your device at Thursday, it would be arrive at Friday release ???? It’s Monday, the hubs in Europe starts slowly there work now
I've got the same configuration as you except I picked blue, also I've placed the order 5 mins after and that's because the apple website keeps throwing errors.
And the estimate date of delivery for me is 05/23 - 05/29, still says processing.
Oh BTW I am in China, and that's not helping on faster delivery even the factory is here. ?
I did consider it, but I don’t need all the power anymore. Especially at what I know will be a much higher cost. Plus, I never take my laptop off the desk lol. So I figured I might as well save some money, and go with the desktop.
My card was never charged btw, so that’s already a good sign haha. I’ll just assume EU starts later (maybe also because they first send it to hub like Netherlands and only get it ready for shipment when it arrived there)
Yeah, i think that is the case in Europe. First dropping at a hub, then delivering across the countries.
Aaaaaaand May 25 expected delivery date. Oh well. Still within the window so I can't complain. I'll have to survive four days of watching other folks unbox theirs I guess.
My iMac is chilling in Memphis. I assume it's going to stay there till later in the week and then start making it's way to the east coast and towards me.
Can't get any more updates - tracking on UPS app and website - stopped on 5/14....
