Was the same for me but now it’s working. Says the original label was created in Ireland! That would make it close enough for delivery tomorrow if I’ve made sense of that correctly! ?
Wouldn't you love to see the Memphis FedEx Distribution Warehouse, Apple section, about now? Stacked to the ceiling, I would imagine. All of our beautiful iMacs patiently waiting to go to their new homes.
Just had mine change from preparing to “shipped“ with a UPS label for overnight air showing tomorrow as delivery.
Maybe they have some units staged in US already, since mine was base mid spec not a custom made. Hope everyone gets good news today as well

I think there is a manufacturing facility over there for Macs, I remember when I ordered an old 21.5 iMac, the label came from cork, Ireland.
Well, mine has changed into 21 May, tomorrow, but how? It is 'label created' only (in Ireland). How the hell can it arrive tomorrow to Hungary? ?
This is the same for me too. Shipped just before 7am EDT, UPS Next Day Air. Apple say delivery May 21, but UPS don't have it yet. However, it does show an origin in the US.
If past experience is anything to go by, Apple will have staged as many units in the US as possible. Probably in hubs in all their major markets to facilitate express deliveries.
i keep hoping hubby's blue 16/1TB with 24 may - 1 june delivery will update and come tomorrow. the pending charge showed up monday but it just shows processing... his is expedited shipping vs the standard shipping that my pink is/was, which is in louisville just waiting for ups to get it on a plane and to local and to me tomorrow, i hope!

Yes, that is the correct - there are M1 iMacs and iPad Pros already in the states - waiting for delivery to the Apple Stores on Friday.
My M1 Mini pre-order last year was an example of how it sat at "Processing Order" to "Shipping" in one night - received notification from FED-EX the night before launch day and it originated from Bloomington, CA (FED-EX warehouse about 40 miles away).
My M1 missed the entire China to Alaska to Memphis, TN route.
People on the Mini forum said that mine was pulled from an Apple store inventory that was already sitting there and sent direct to me.
That was a nice surprise!
I think there will be others here that will find a "surprise" delivery on launch day...
One more day!!!! I can't wait for this thing to get here!
Finally, my order is "Preparing for shipping" too. Blue 16GB/1TB with numeric keyboard and trackpad.
The order confirmation said shipping May 26~31, the order page said May 31 the whole time (and "Processing" up until now).
Creditcard has also been charged. It's finally happening.
Edit: Aaaaand it has shipped. No tracking info yet, but mail suggests it'll be delivered Tuesday May 25.

Reposted my last as APPL texted @ 0945 today my order has shipped & tr. info. forthcoming in the next 24hrs.
I have never been to Memphis, but my iMac must really like it there.
the director of distribution in County Cork dealt on the phone for hours re a photos app problem i was having,i wouldnt be suprised if Cork has a big role to play in distribution in one way or another
Just had a text from DPD to say my new blue iMac will be delivered tomorrow. (Southport UK)
Sweet, opted for 256gb as I dont anticipate using much storage, but can add an external HD if needed.
