Is it normal in Europe for an iMac 24 to be in the Netherlands almost 1 week after dispatch?

It's already been paid and invoiced...I don't understand that much time in EINDHOVEN, since 26 July until today?!!

Watched mine hammer across the world to the UK, didn't spend more than a few hours at any location it seemed.

There is a certain capriciousness in the tracking information.

Mine showed no movement for over five weeks from point of order (13 June, expected delivery 26/7-2/8). I got in touch with Apple on 21 July to ask if there was a problem. Following that contact it went the same day to preparing to ship, to shipped and tracking from Dublin. It arrived on 23 July.

After a week spent in EINDHOVEN, today he has finally joined the DHL network, but yes, it's on time, I just thought the 1 week break was weird.

Hooray! I wonder what goes through shipping companies’ heads sometimes, though. Maybe they couldn’t ship out to a specific location until they had someone available for shipping? Anyway take pics of your Mac!

Looks great. Out of curiosity, where do you place the keyboard in relation to the screen and your hands with the numeric keypad? Debating whether the whole keyboard should be centered with the Mac or just the letter keys centered and numpad off to the right...

I think the numeric keyboard should really only be chosen by whom who really needs it. It messes up the spaces on the desk, especially if one is using the trackpad in addition to the mouse, moving them too much on the right

I missed the full keyboard when I bought the last iMac, went full for this 24' and re learning a few things but prefer it, and the track pad. But I don't do tidy desk all lined up nicely n neat ?

I put the trackpad next to the keyboard more for the photo. I have the keyboard centered with the monitor, I prefer the logitech mouse, but I also prefer to buy the trackpad and not the apple mouse. Decisions

Soooo.. not sure if it’s the right thread, but just for visibility. Anyone noticed the whine noise at low brightness? It’s supposedly on every M1 iMac, to a various degree. I’m ready to have some and hear it at night in a quiet room, I just hope not to hear it in daytime. I will not obsess over it like going with the ear near the ports. Anyway, if it will really be loud, I’ll exchange it, alas. Will stop discussing this if inappropriate of course, there’s already a thread albeit not much active.

Ordered 7/23, still nothing Europe

Silver 8/8 16/512 with MM and Trackpad. The less “standard” the order the more it takes. I’m sure a 1TB with Magic Mouse would arrive earlier

I just ordered a Green 8/8/8/256 with the extended keyboard, and got an ETA of Sept 2 - 10. I am not a patient person and I can't wait for it to arrive!!

Well, I've finally ordered mine.

Blue, 8-Core GPU, 1TB SSD and 16GB RAM.

My current iMac is 8 years old now, so it's time. Should arrive in 3 - 4 weeks.

Hello! I just ordered my new iMac 3 days ago ! I got the Yellow one, 16GB + 512GB SSD & Magic Trackpad since i hate the mouse.

I'm located in France, it says 3-4 weeks (sept 7 - 14) but hopefully will arrive before ! Since i seen many people saying their's came early ! Very excited.

I'm switching from a 27 late 2015 5k iMac. It's the reason why it took me so long to order the new 24 one, I really thought i wanted to wait for the bigger model. But...
I love this 24 design so bad, and I think it's already pretty expensive if you wanna get a "durable" spec. So yeah I sold my 27 iMac the day i ordered the new!

I'm mostly excited to finally have a full SSD iMac, and a way better GPU (i had the old 2GO AMD Radeon chip which was pretty bad, even the sims were only running decently on low settings and used to crash).

No pending charge on my card yet!
