How are some people saying they pre ordered when the Apple website and app both are saying ”Almost there”?

My husband got in instantly to place his order and one for our oldest kid who is also upgrading.

I was stuck refreshing my app for almost 2 minutes then finally got in. He had to look over my shoulder to make sure I was pressing all the right options because I was so hyper.

I did get in! I danced around the kitchen like a maniac. I have no chill. Lol. Anyway we are both in the same house but this always happens. One of us gets in. The other is locked out sometimes as long as 8 minutes if I remember correctly!

The store took 7 mins to come up for me....the iPhone Pro Max Gold 256 on ATT - it was saying Sept 16th until after I checked out and it moved to September 23rd.... WTF

Same with me. Said 16th when I ordered, now everything says the 23rd. Hopefully we get them on launch day.

the delivery dates generally move up by atleast 4-5 days.
