Not necessarily. It has a lot to do with production of certain models. They may have produced more purple knowing it would sell more. Less silver as it's usually not the top seller.

I remember people were able to get UPS to hold their iPhones at their CC last year? I think you'll need to call UPS and track the right person down. It's not impossible.

Yes, contact UPS. Hold at CC. Delivery will show an exception until it hits the states and the hold can be confirmed.

I think I made an error and selected the AT&T version instead of the unconnected phone like I usually do. I have AT&T so it shouldn’t be a problem, but what is the difference?

Tried ordering through ATT, the ATT site crashed...went immediately to Apple's site and ordered, iPhone Pro Space Gray 256 with 9/16 delivery.

Why did you try ordering through Att. They are horrible.
