They better be, so the flight tracking frenzy can ensue!I'll try to stop stressing about it. I believe UPS will be the major freight carrier to ship our iPhones! To UPS, go beyond!!!

Are you keeping both phones this year? Both of my orders are saying Standard Delivery. So hoping it is UPS. I don’t see apple using both carriers to ship the iPhone in the U.S. they will only use one shipment freight carrier because it's coming from China.
Same here, almost no sleep, craziness during preorder and after. I need a nap already.
Had that last year. Couldn’t complete the order until I switched to a different card. If your order processed, I wouldn’t expect problems later.Any reports of issues with using Apple Card, like last year? This is my first year ordering with it, so I'm not sure if any problems would've shown up by now.
I think apple uses both for watches. I have gotten it shipped via UPS before from Chinapretty sure watches usually ship FedEx
Yeah, that was an instant decision after keep refreshing web and app didn't help. Kids were waiting in car to be dropped to school early today and didn't want to use iphone while driving.I think closing and rebooting is a very good thing to do just before orders go live
Major orders like iPhone... UPS will be the main freight carrier. FedEx is too expensive. the only time Apple did not use UPS was in 2020. In 2020, During the Covid season, Apple decided to go with Cargo Lux Fright Carrier to ship our iPhone 12 Pro's. They also used charter flights to move the shipment forward. That was the only time. Last year UPS delivered our iPhone 13s.pretty sure watches usually ship FedEx
Well - that makes so little sense. Many of these "postal service" orders were reportedly finished as early as 8:02 - which I imply would mean they were from the deliverable on launch day 9/16 batch, but for some reason, either because Apple actually chose incredibly slow 7 day UPSP service for some orders - or because the system screwed up on these orders and assigned a non existent "postal service" option for launch day deliveries - it is now being reported as delivery on 9/23. If in fact Apple is planning to use slower that book rate 7-day delivery vis USPS, then upgrading should improve that a wee bit. If it is, as I suspect, a glitch - then changing it to a real delivery method should also improve delivery. Unless you actually ordered a phone that was at that moment appropriately meant to deliver on 9/23, and fixing the "glitch" just got you the the real delayed date via "standard delivery".Just got changed to expedited shipping but it didn’t improve my 9/23.
UPS Surepost - google it...Wait
People who saw a 9/16 delivery are now being updated to late sept with “postal service”?
Yes, 9/16. Had to nap. Still exhausted.@ratspg @Whistler Mac Where are you? Did you get a launch date delivery?
You got approved when you prepped for pre-orderWhen do we get an email of our citizens one being approved?
Probably because they are getting it from Europe somewhere. It sits in a destination hub. Thanks for an update.@TheYayAreaLiving 🎗 our UK friends already have “Preparing to ship”. 🤯
UPS surepost doesn't allow requiring signature, which Apple always requires on launch day deliveries. I can't believe they made that choice.UPS Surepost - google it...
Yes but they then later send out another one with the new loan number. When do we get those? You got approved when you prepped for pre-order
