Delivery Date 9/16 (standard delivery)
Credit card: pending charges for tax showing as of yesterday when I did the "prepare for order" step

ALso ordered a case and just received a shipping confirmation (delivery Sept. 10) from the company: Deliver-IT. I am in California and I have seen this used before (not from Apple though). I really hope the phone doesn't ship using this company.

Any reports of issues with using Apple Card, like last year? This is my first year ordering with it, so I'm not sure if any problems would've shown up by now.

Nope, as a matter of fact, Apple Card charged me as soon as I did the pre-order yesterday. Geesh!

Apple support is basically useless. After long hold during phone call reached support specialist(in Canada!)

She was unable to even pull up my order # or pull info from it.

Not surprising how ineffective they are.

Sometimes, I think Apple grabs someone off the streets and says, "Man the phones."

For those who did in-store pickup, can you confirm if your order status is still in “Order placed” phase and not in processing?

I ask because I ordered 2 phones: one shipped, one at my local store and want to cancel the shipped one but just want to make sure the pickup one isn’t messed up and going to cancel or something.

Mine is still order placed.

Just confirmed it is coming from UPS. Here is your proof. Got it confirmed few times.

Forget Post Office to be delivering our iPhones, Come on! No offense but can't compete with UPS.

UPS surepost doesn't allow requiring signature, which Apple always requires on launch day deliveries. I can't believe they made that choice.

I have never signed for an Apple delivery - Macbook Pro, iPad, AW7, iPhone 12 & 13......

I wonder how activations are going to go next Friday? For people that are coming from a iPhone with physical sim to the iphone 14 ESIM

I remember activating my iPhone last year with esim on launch day was rough, although I hope carriers have improved.

Yessir. Had to wait 30 min on hold and then my card wasn’t charged until 15 min into the call which finally allowed the phone rep to see it. She put through the express delivery and now it’s “Sept 23 by Express Delivery”

You get charged the sales tax for now. Once your phone is shipped you do get charged the first month then.
