14PM 256GB Deep Purple here ordered 7:04am CT Sept 16th.
iUP was super easy, however, also had the annoyance of inputting one billing address during pre-save and it using an outdated billing address (thankfully not shipping)- everything processed fine though. I also think that while Apple/UPS will get it to me on launch date, it would calm my soul more if they stated "Expedited Shipping" instead of "Standard Delivery". It would probably lower some call volume too with people who have not dealt with a preorder from Apple before haha.

I wasn't going to upgrade this year, but impulsively decided to this morning right before orders opened. Got into the store around 8:01 am via the app. Since I decided not to upgrade this year, didn't pre-fill information( iUP) so had to go through that process. Grabbed a 256 GB 14 Pro Max Deep Purple for September 16th delivery. Order went in at around 8:05 am, got confirmation email at 8:11 am.
I am surprised I went with Deep Purple. Upon reveal, I thought if I was to upgrade I would go Silver this year. But decided upon purple this morning. I am still incredibly bored with white/black phones. Though I never had a Silver/White iPhone, always black before going with Pacific Blue for my 12 Pro Max, then Sierra Blue for my 13 Pro Max.

I setup my preorder Wednesday afternoon. Went into the Apple Store app this morning and checked out via Apple Pay. Took all of 20 seconds to order.

mine says preparing to ship also but no date next to arrives!?? 😯😳 I am not panicking though cause on the bottom says deliver 9/16!
Just moved to “Preparing to ship” where it will sit for the next 120+ hours. Then, the forums will change to “why hasn’t my 9/16 moved to ‘Shipped’ yet” panic posts. Truly, my favorite time of year. Love this thread.

Very nice! I started refreshing from like 7:45 cause it was my first pre-order, and it wouldn't let me in until 8:07. It was more nerve wracking than I expected, cause I'd heard that you gotta get in the first few minutes. Thankfully got launch date so all's well that ends well.
I did IUP upgrade, but didn’t get return information or asked about condition of phone. How does this process work.
